"Does he know?" House asked coldly, tears streaming down his cheeks. Allison stared blanklyat him a full minute before Greg screamed. "Does Wilson know that she's his kid?"

"Greg, she's not-"

"She has his eyes." Allison stood her ground.

"Lexi is not his daughter. She's yours."

"We'll find out."

Greg swabbed his mouth, and repeated the action to his child. She looked just like Allison, but those eyes. He knew them as Wilson's. Allison had left him the day before; just until he decided to stop being unreasonable.

"Daddy?" the girl called. "Want Moma?"

"I know, honey." Greg handed the swabs over to Chase who ran the test. The room was silent as the test was run. A hand clapped gently on his shoulder. Lisa Cuddy was there for him, to offer her support.

"You love her?"

"Allison or Lexi?"

"Does it matter?"

"Lexi, go with Dr. Cuddy," he said, handing the child over. "I'll be in my office. Bring me the results."

House paced his office. He looked at the pictured that littered his walls. They were full of smiling faces; Allison, Greg, and Lexi over the last 3 years. They looked so happy. Greg looked at himself holding Lexi. He loved his daughter from the moment he first held her. No one could take that away.

Greg decided then and there that tests be damned. He was Lexi's father, and he didn't need a peice of paper to prove it. When Chase brought the results in, House tore the paper.

"I don't need a test to know that I'm her Dad. I may or may not be her father, but I Am her Dad. That's all I need to know to love her and her mother."
