I laugh at my writing from before. Oh, middle school xD I will finish this story, not as originally planned (because I don't remember what I was thinking than) but hopefully it will still be good. I want to wrap it up already so there is a few slight time skips. Please bare with me.

I want to move on to different stories once I finish this. And seriously, thank you my loyal readers. My writing was horrible in the past chapters, I hope to improve and have you guys enjoy reading my stories even more than you already do. I'm extremely sorry for such an extremely long hiatus. Please continue to let me know what you think. It may feel rushed, I am sorry. But I do have a few other stories I'm working on that I think you guys will really enjoy. Anyways, hope you all are well!

The breeze blew past her face as they raced across the street. She was here. With Sasuke Uchiha. Headed for some unknown destination. Sasuke looked back at her and smirked, grabbing her hand. She flushed a deep red color that she couldn't conceal. They walked in silence and Sakura wondered why they would be walking if Sasuke had a car and a motorcycle.

After stepping on an unknown bike path that wounded through the trees and lead to the park, they finally reached their destination.

"The ocean…" Whispered Sakura. This was the same ocean he had taken her to ages ago. Although it was brief she still remembered it.

"It clears your mind." Sasuke stated, staring out into the ocean. After a few moments of silence Sakura finally spoke up.

"Sasuke… Thank you. For everything you've done for me." He looked at Sakura with soft eyes and grinned. Sakura smiled back as the two sat and stared at the ocean. She wasn't sure how much time had passed, but finally Sasuke stood up.

"It's time to go." He reached his hand down for her to grasp it. She nodded and took a hold of it. He pulled her up more forcefully than she had expected and she ran into his chest. Blushing furiously she quickly stepped away only to be held in place by Uchiha him self.

"I know what it's like." He said silently. "Everyone dies. We just have to accept it and live our lives." Sakura slowly wrapped her hands around his waist and tightened her hold as she buried her head into his chest.

She felt comfortable here. She felt safe just being like this. And strangely warm. It was the sort of peace she hadn't felt in what seemed like weeks. And she strangely did not want to let go of the sturdy man that was in front of her. The man she had despised. But he was also the man that had cared for her, in his own way. He had kept her safe and gave her those strange butterflies every time he crossed her mind.

She buried her head farther into his chest trying to hide the furious blush that was clearly evident across her face. Sasuke smirked and held her closer to him. Everything was going to be okay. She couldn't know it would stay that way forever, but being in Sasuke's arms made her feel like it would be okay.

Sasuke gently pulled away from her and made a motion to walk away. She followed him, her hand in his. Sasuke suddenly turned to her making her stop in her tracks just before she bumped into him. She felt a warm kiss on her forehead. Than there was a hand on her chin that brought her face up.

Before she knew it, warm lips were pressed against hers, kissing her deeply and making her pale skin flush redder than ever before. Sasuke Uchiha was kissing her. In public. He was kissing her! His smell enveloped her comfortably as she melted into his body and began to kiss him back. His smell, his touch, his warmth was all surrounding her. Everything about him filled her mind.

She shyly kissed him deeper as he led the way. Sakura couldn't help the feeling she felt of wanting this moment to last forever. The butterflies in her stomach seemed to be exploding and there was no way she would last on her feet much longer. However, she didn't have to worry.

Sasuke pulled away from her, his hand now on her cheek. He smirked at her flushed face and grabbed her hand again before he continued walking.

Neji silently stood in front of Tenten's house. He had never done something like this before. Apologize to a girl. And for what? It wasn't like it was her fault that Hikate kissed him! But Shikamaru was right. They had a short chat earlier that day and Shikamaru had said Tenten was just jealous and hurt seeing another girl kiss him. And he had to let her know she was the only one for him. Although Shikamaru was usually single, he had given Neji excellent advice.

Neji sighed and rang the doorbell. No answer. He rang and knocked on the door. Waited. Still no answer. He sighed, did she know it was him? Was she still avoiding him even though he was right outside her house? He sighed and stepped back to look at the house. The light upstairs was on. It didn't hurt to try to get someone to open the door.

He took a few small pebbles from the ground and gently chucked it to the window. After a few moments a girls head peeked out from the curtain. Brown eyes widened when they saw the Hyuuga standing there with white lilies in his hands. She turned a deep red color as he gestured for her to come out. Tenten quickly put on decent clothes and washed her face before rushing down the stairs.

She opened the door to reveal the Hyuuga with a solemn expression on his face. They stood staring at each other for a moment until Neji spoke up.

"Tenten, I've never done this for anyone in my life before. This is the first time I've come to a girls house with flowers." Tenten smiled broadly. "You need to know that Hikate is no one to me. And the only one that matters to me is… well… you." Said Neji awkwardly.

Tenten couldn't contain the happiness she felt welling around in her stomach. No one had ever come to her house with flowers before. Or approached her through her bedroom window! She laughed at the awkward look on Neji's face. This, she knew, was genuine. And she was glad. She wanted the pain to be over, the avoiding to be done with. She just wanted Neji.

She gently wrapped a hand around Neji's neck and gave a gentle kiss to his cheek.

"Thank you." She whispered happily.

Neji smirked and pulled her close to him, burying his nose in her hair. This was all he needed. This was all he wanted. He handed Tenten the flowers, which she gladly took and saw the small card wrapped around them. He looked at her as though expecting her to open it.

She slowly opened it, as though there would be a dangerous surprise inside. However, what she saw made her freeze in shock.

'Will you go to prom with me?'

Her smile was so wide she couldn't contain it any longer.

"Yes!" She yelled and practically knocked Neji over with a hug. Even though she had told the girls she didn't care for prom, she still secretly wanted to go. I mean, especially if it was with Mr. Neji Hyuuga.

He laughed and pulled her close to him, letting her body mold to his. He gently kissed her forehead and slowly down made his way down to her lips. He had missed feeling her warm lips against his. And Tenten couldn't deny that this was perfect.

Ding Dong

The door opened to reveal a clear eyed beautiful girl. Naruto blinked a few times stunned before laughing to shake off his nerves.

"Heeeyy Hinata…" He said, scratching his head. "Is Neji home?"

"He left to v-visit Tenten." She said. "Did you w-want to wait here?"

"Sure!" He said, stepping into the foyer.

"I-I'll make you something to eat." Hinata muttered as she headed for the kitchen.

"I'll go with you!" Naruto shouted, following the girl. She smiled at him and made her way to the kitchen.

"Anything with noodles would be good." Naruto said as they got into the kitchen. Hinata froze, her face turned red as she looked at the blonde shamefully.

"I-I've never c-cooked noodles before." She whispered. Naruto laughed and grabbed her hand.

"Don't worry Hinata, we can make it together!" Hinata turned a deeper shade of red as she felt the warmth of Naruto's hand on hers. She nodded eagerly, happy to be spending time with the blonde man. He quickly got to work showing her the ingredients she needed to make the perfect ramen.

He enthusiastically chopped ingredients and boiled the noodles until a delicious smell wafted through the air.

"And that is how you get the ULTIMATE UZUMAKI BOWL OF RAMEN!" His broad smile seemed to brighten the room. Hinata laughed. "Here! Try a bowl!"

Hinata took a seat and indulged in the delicious smell before grabbing a spoon for her to taste it. As it entered her mouth her eyes widened. It was amazing!

"N-naruto, this is a-amazing!" She exclaimed. It was the best ramen she had ever tasted. Not too salty, not too bland, many flavors and very colorful. Naruto grinned.

"I'm glad you like it Hinata-chan." Naruto took a seat next to her and watched her eat happily. He grabbed his own bowl and began to eat. Eating with others, sharing and enjoying a meal, was one of Naruto's favorite past times. And he was glad he was sharing the experience with Hinata.

"What do cops eat for dessert?" Silence. "Copcakes!"

Hinata laughed at Naruto's joke while everyone stared at him. It had been a few weeks since the events and it was finally the day of prom. The group sat at the lunch table eating as Naruto tried to start a conversation.

"That was horrible." Muttered Kiba, shaking his head.

"Shut up Kiba!" Naruto retorted.

"Anyway." Tenten interrupted, "I am really excited for tonight!" Ino squealed.

"See! I knew you would've regretted it if you didn't go!" Tenten shrugged at her comment. Neji currently had his arm across her shoulder since they were clearly dating. Neji stated this to any girl that approached him. There was no way he was going through not having Tenten in his life again. And he made it obvious that they were dating to all guys too. He was slightly possessive, but who wasn't at the beginning of a relationship?

Sasuke and Sakura were also… well… something. They were affectionate enough to be dating but not clearly stated as a couple. However anyone could see the affection in Sasuke's eyes when he saw Sakura. Or the happiness in her eyes when she saw Sasuke. And this was also the point that Hinata and Naruto were at too.

"I want to help you with your makeup and hair!" Ino exclaimed. Tenten nodded.

"Of course!"

"And I want to watch." Sakura said happily.

"Well obviously you and Hinata will be there." Tenten replied.

"Why do girls care so much about prom?" Shikamaru stated.

"It's like a princess ball! You can never overlook it." Ino scolded.

The bell rang and everyone headed to class, the school buzzing with one thing. Prom.

As I said before, I do want to move on from this story, so I am sorry if it feels a bit rushed. But I hope you guys enjoy it and I am again sorry for the super long hiatus. The last real chapter I wrote was in middle school and I'm in college now! Holy balls! Lol but thank you again to my loyal readers. The reason I started this story up again was because I read your reviews after such a long time and you guys really support me a lot and want more chapters! No more hiatuses!

Please review :)

Much much love
