And I'm doing another Harry/Ginny one-shot! Those seem to be all I'm good at, Harry Potter FanFic wise. Oh well, Lets get started! Disclaimer: I do not own Harry Potter (If I did, Dumbledore and Sirius wouldn't be gone)

--

He should have out a stop to it all. Should have set in her in the right direction. Should have put an end to it all before it started. Instead he turned his back on it all.

--

She should have tried to write him. Should have tried to get him to realize she at least existed. Instead she bit her tongue and went on with life.

--

He should have torn the plans away from her and her mother. Should have cursed them into oblivion until they realized their mistake. Instead he turned back to the chessboard.

--

She should have talked to him. Should have told him how she really felt. Should have told him everything. Instead she confided in some old diary.

--

He should have told her how he really felt. Should have given his honest opinion. Should have put her straight. Instead he grinded his teeth and lied.

--

She should have realized sooner. Should have seen she didn't have a chance. Should have seen she was the outcast. Instead she kept on dreaming.

--

He should have gone to her and told her everything. Should have tried to show her the light. Should have showed her the truth. Instead he smiled and raged in his head.

--

She should have asked him herself. Should have gone with her instincts. Should have gone to him herself. Instead she turned down the feelingless and desperate offer.

--

He should have sat her down and talked to her. Should have showed her past. Should have showed her what the future could be. Instead he looked away.

--

She should have told the truth instead of lying. Should have gone to him right from the start. Should have made him see the light. Instead she settled for second best.

--

He should have complained aloud. Should have talked to her. Should have told her his feelings. Instead he complained to his friends.

--

She should have come between them. Should have protected him so he wouldn't be hurt. Should have said something more. Instead she watched him pine over some other girl.

--

He should have stopped the madness. Should have admitted his feelings. Should have done something. Instead he smiled and went on with life.

--

She should have held on to him. Should have talked him out of. Should have stopped him from walking away. Instead she nodded and said she understood.

--

He should have taken his last chance. Should have listened to Hermione. Should have gone to her. Instead he chatted with his friends in Ron's room.

--

She should have gone with them. Should have gone with him. Should have helped so he'd know she wasn't helpless. Instead she stayed behind and prayed.

--

He should have said something when he had the chance. Should have said he protested. Should have gone to her and kissed her. Instead he smiled and pretended to be happy, and took his place next to Ron, only wishing it were him standing next to her instead of some other bloke. Maybe she wished it too. Maybe not. Neither would never know. They had gone with the "insteads" instead of the "shoulds". And look where it got them.

Yeah, did that make any sense? Whatever, review whether you liked it or hated it
