Kairi let out a giggle as she and Sora walked down the long hallway in Riku's house in the middle of the night. They were both sleeping over that night and they decided to have a little fun.

Sora, who was also trying to hold back laughter, put a finger to his lips. "Shhhhh . . . we don't want to wake Riku," he said in the quietest voice he could manage. After looking around to make sure they hadn't caused a disturbance to Riku, who was sleeping in the room right next to the spot they were standing, the pair continued down to the end of the hall where the bathroom was located.

Once they got there, Sora signaled for Kairi to wait outside the bathroom, but Kairi, not trusting Sora, shook her head and followed him into the tiny bathroom. As Sora shook the bottle he held in his hand, they located the hair spray they knew Riku used on his . . . unique hair. While holding back more laughter, they replaced it with the bottle Sora was holding.

Afterwards, they tiptoed back down the hall to their rooms.

Riku heard his alarm clock ring. He sat up in bed and shielded his eyes from the light shining through his window. After getting changed, he headed down the hallway to where Sora was sleeping. Looking in, he saw no one. "He must have snuck into Kairi's room last night to make out with her last night, " he laughed to himself. But when he looked into Kairi's room he once again saw no one.

"Mom, where are Sora and Kairi?"

"They left already, Buttermuffin. Said they wanted to get an early start to school," he heard in reply.

Riku was a little surprised they would leave without him, but wasn't really phased and just shrugged it off. "Oh, yeah, Mom, don't call me that. EVER AGAIN!" He headed back to his room to get changed and ready for school, without paying much attention, as he did every day.

Fifteen minutes later, he emerged from the bathroom and headed down the stairs. His mom, hearing him from the other room, called out to him. "Riku, Butter-- I mean--Sweetie, I used the hair spray this morning and look w–" But she was interrupted before she could finish what she was saying.

"Not now, Mom. I need to go." With that Riku grabbed his backpack and ran out the door.

His other friends, Tidus, Wakka, and Selphie, were waiting for him on the steps. Wakka turned around. "Hey, man! Where are Sora a–" When he saw Riku, he stopped mid-sentence and got wide-eyed.

Riku looked at him confused then at Tidus, who was already on the ground laughing. "What? What's the matter?"

Selphie took out a mirror from her purse and handed it to Riku, giggling uncontrollably. "Here. I think you might need this."

Riku took the mirror, still confused, and glanced at his reflection. He gasped. "OH, MAN! I AM GOING TO KILL THOSE TWO!"

Sora and Kairi, who were hiding behind a nearby tree were already laughing hysterically.

Riku rushed over to them. "WHY THE HELL IS MY HAIR PINK!"
