"Just take those old records off the shelf, I'll sit and listen to them by myself." He sang loudly.

"Today's music ain't got the same soul, I like that old time rock n' roll."

His audience continued to stare up at him in adoration as he danced around the stage.

"Don't try to take me to a disco; you'll never get me out on the floor."

He jumped to the back of the stage, glancing around.

"In ten minutes I'll be late for the door, I like that old kind of rock n' roll."

His eyes finally spotted what he was looking for.

"Still like that old kind of rock n' roll, that kind of music just soothes the soul."

He plucked up said object and turned back to his rapt audience.

"I reminisce about the days of old, with that old time rock n' roll."

He examined the object closely in his hands, making sure to dust the excess straw and dust off.

"Don't go to hear then play tango, I'd rather hear some blues of funky old soul."

He jumped down from the stage into his adoring audience, a smile coming to his lips as heard the sound of excited squeaks.

"There's only one sure to get me to go, start playing old time rock n' roll."

He knelt down to the nearest chick.

"Call me a relic, call me what you will, say I'm old fashioned, say I'm over the hill"

He reached out a finger and gently stroked the young face.

"Today's music ain't got the same soul, I like that old time rock n' roll."

All of the chicks in his audience began moving about excitedly. He offered the closet audience member the item found on the stage, a pink stuffed ducky.

"Zachary, what in the gods names are you doing?"

Zack glanced at the door of his apartment where Sephiroth stood staring at him with an eyebrow raised in question.

"Be right back ladies." Zack said before standing up and walking over to the General.

"Were you or were you not just singing to Chocobos."

Zack glanced back at his chicks, all looking lovingly at him, some still clucking excitedly.

"It helps them sleep."

Sephiroth sighed.

"Zack why do you have twelve baby chocobos in your presence?"

Zack smiled broadly.

"Aerith needed me to watch them for her while she's out of town."

Sephiroth rolled his eyes. The boy would jump of a bridge if the young Miss Aerith asked him to.

"But why my room?" The General asked in exasperation.

Zack's smile only grew wider.

"I need help."

Sephiroth took a deep breath in, trying to control his anger. He took a step towards the soldier and stuck his hand in the young man's pocket.

Zack jumped, clearly startled by the Generals actions. The other man quickly found what he was looking for and retracted his hand.

"Good night Zachary." The General said turning and shutting the door behind him.

Zack checked his pocket after the man departed trying to find what the man took. With a frown he realized his keys were gone. He shrugged, oh well; Cloud would have a new room mate for tonight.

He turned his attention to the twelve baby chocobo chicks sitting in straw filled box in front of Sephiroth's couch.

"Guess it's just me and you fine ladies."

The chicks clucked excitedly.
