Title: Visitor
Description: Missing scene from 3.10
Summary: Luke tells his girlfriend about a visitor he had earlier that day on her behalf.
Notes: This is a drabble -- I got inspired while watching the show and decided to write a little thingy. Not only is it un-beta'd, it hasn't even been edited by me. Complete stream-of-consciousness writing.

"Luke, are you home?" you call into the apartment, dropping your things by the door.

"I'm here." He meets you by the front door.

You grin and give him a kiss in greeting. "Hi."

"Hi," he returns.

You frown, catching the look on his face. "What's wrong?"

He shrugs, heading for the sofa. "I had an interesting visitor today."

"Who was it?" you ask cautiously, sitting down next to him. It couldn't be his ex -- you knew for certain they had broken up when she was here.

"Your pseudo-father," he tells you, raising his eyebrows and they disappear into his hair. You have to convince him to let you to cut that. It's really getting out of hand. Then it sinks in what he said.

"My what?"

"Your pseudo-father," he repeats, "came by today. Gave me a little speech about how you're a 'good girl' and I was taking advantage of you."

You just stare at him, not comprehending. "Who are you talking about, Luke? Who is my pseudo-father? It wasn't Walter, was it? Because he has absolutely no right to have any say in my life whatsoever!" You stand up, enraged.

"Roxanne." He places a hand on your arm to try to calm you down. "It wasn't Walter. It was Mr. Pryor."

"Oh." Well, that's different. Mr. Pryor has more right to say things than Walter, but you're not sure how you feel about anyone having a say in what you should or shouldn't do. "Was he mad? Did he yell at you?"

"No." He shakes his head. "He just basically told me to take care of you."

"Oh," you say again, settling back down on the couch next to him. "I guess that's okay then." You snuggle into him, his arm coming to rest around your shoulders.

"If you say so." His tone is slightly amused, and you roll your eyes, but you think maybe it's okay. Luke will take care of you.

And a small part of you is pleased that Mr. Pryor has accepted your arrangement, even if he doesn't approve.
