A/N. I know its very short but it's a part in the film which i find most intriging...

Anakin stood watching the flames burn fiercely and the lava flow. He still felt the dark energy flow through his veins. He was glad that those separatists were dead. But he still felt misery when he remembered those Jedi younglings that he mercifully slaughtered. That boy, the one who looked up at him innocently and asked "what are we going to do", pained his heart when he released his light sabre. He thought of Padme and the baby. He would kill anything and anyone who would try to kill his wife or his unborn baby. Yet here he was, destroying other people's children.

A small tear ran down his cheek. That child………THAT CHILD! But he did it all for Padme and the baby. The baby. When he first found out that he was to be a father, he was shocked and excited. A baby? He wondered if he could do it, to be a good father. But after what he had done, he wouldn't think a child would want a life like that. Would it?
