"Wait, Sasuke! Don't move, don't take the next step."
Sasuke stopped and looked back, annoyed. "What is it, dobe?"
Sasuke resisted the urge to roll his eyes before he turned back and glanced down.
Sasuke continued to stare at the innocent yellow dandelion while Naruto happily skipped next to him.
"Don't step on it, Sasuke-teme."
"Why not?" Sasuke surprised himself, but he had really wanted to know.
"Why not?" Naruto looked curiously at Sasuke, "Because, you're ruining its chance to grow."
"Hn, dobe," Sasuke ignored the yell that erupted from the blond, "It's a full grown flower already."
Naruto shook his head, "Still!" he persisted, "It can spread its spores around this empty field!"
"And then this field will be filled with pretty flowers... and it will not be alone anymore." Naruto ended in a whisper.
Sasuke glanced at Naruto and let it linger there for a moment before he closed his eyes and turned back,
"Come on dobe, let's head back."
"Don't call me that teme! And why must i follow your orders?"
"I'll treat you to Ichiraku's ramen." Sasuke started walking away.
Naruto blinked before he cheered, "Honto?" and ran to catch up with Sasuke who paused.
Sasuke closed his eyes ignoring the blond and continued walking once he felt Naruto's presence next to him.
A particular image of two flowers entertwined came into his head.
He smiled lightly 'You're not alone at all, dobe.'
