Disclaimer: If only I could own Severus Snape. Alas he and the rest of Harry Potter belong to the genius who is JK Rowling.
Summary: Hermione's having a bad day. Severus makes it all better. Double Drabble. HG/SS.
A/N: I was going to use a scene similar to this in one of my other fics but it just fit better as a drabble. Enjoy!
"Today was the worst day in the world of history." Professor Hermione Snape raved as she stormed into the Snape's living room. She didn't even greet her husband; she just started pacing in front of him, complaining about her day.
Professor Severus Snape looked up from the book he had been reading. He marked his page in the book and set it down on the side table calmly. He then took off his reading glasses and put them alongside his book. He crossed his legs and sat back apparently listening to his wife ramblings. After a little while she stopped in front of him.
"Are you done?" he asked calmly.
"Yes," she admitted. He uncrossed his legs and pulled her to him so that she was sitting on his lap. He kissed her deeply and left her a little breathless.
"So how was your day dear?" he asked the woman on his lap.
"It was perfect Severus, just perfect," she answered regaining her breath. He smirked and she leaned her head into the crook in his neck. He picked up his glasses and book and continued to read around her.
"Hm?" he answered, not looking up.
"You are unbelievable."
A/N: I was inspired to add the unbelievable at the end because of the unbelievable challenge. It's too bad that it's too late. I hope you like it. Remember to review: P
