The Straight Jacket
By Silver Sailor Ganymede
Why was it, Kagura wondered, that there was always someone on the computer whenever she wanted to use it? It was expecially annoying considering that said computer was both hers and brand new, but there we are. Osaka was using it and had the sort of look on her face that would make most people worrry, but Kagura knew that Osaka was concentrating; she han't caught rabies or anything.
Of course Tomo would probably take over the computer when she finally arrived, Kagura told herself. And talking of Tomo, the final member of their trio was running ten minutes late already, but then again it was Tomo, so that wasn't at all surprising.
"Osaka, what on Earth are you doing?" Kagura groaned, not even sure she really did want to know what was going through the other girl's head at that time.
"I'm looking on Ebay, whydya ask?" Osaka replied.
"And what exactly are you looking for?"
"I wanna getta straight-jacket. I've always wanted one of those, seeing as they're so shiny and all... And everyone says you can get anything off of here, so why not try it?"
Kagura groaned; this was just too insane, even for Osaka. She could have sworn there was a picture of Osaka in the dictionary next to the word 'insane.' Then again there was a picture of Tomo next to the word 'moron' so you never could tell…
Talking of Tomo, the wildcat bounded into the room with a smirk on her face just as Kagura was thinking of her. She jumped on Kagura's back, knocking them both to the ground, and hollered, "Tomo the brilliant has now arrived to brighten you're lame existnaces!"
Kagura shoved the other girl off her, glaring? Was she ever going to get any peace and quiet from her fellow Numbnuts' antics? Obviously not, it seemed.
"Woah, Osaka, what the heck are you looking up straight-jackets for?" Tomo asked upon realising what Osaka was doing.
"I've always wanted one of these," Osaka replied. "Besides, ain't you ever wondered what it feels like to be tied up in one?"
"Can't say I have, but it sure is a great way for keeping nutters like us under some sort of control," Tomo guffawed. "Course a straight-jacket wouldn't work on you, Kags; no prizes for guessing why."
"Tomo, make one more comment like that and I really am going to bash your face in," Kagura snarled, eyes flashing dangerously.
"Besides, I've seen the way you act round Yomi. No prizes for guessing what's going on there."
"Hey!" Tomo yelled. "I do not have a crush on Yomi, I have a crush on y… Ack, never mind, just ignore that!"
Kagura shook her head in exasperation, "I don't even want to know what I think I just nearly heard."
"Huh?" Osaka blinked, looking up from the computer screen. "Hey guys, I've found a straight-jacket." Silence, then… "Why have you two both gone all red? You look like you're from Mars or something…"
