Ping: Finally, a one shot! Not another one of those long winded sagas!

Chin: Uh, Ping? Look behind you...

Ping: ...oh nuts...

...And I'd like to mention that thanks to Disclaimer Bot 57-0A63, I can't be sued for copyright infringement or anything similar to that. Why would people care that I'm using their characters for a fanfiction? I should've just bought a PS3 instead...they're cheaper...

Her hair sopping wet, the girl stood in the soaking rain. Her shoulder length raven black hair, drenched in water, strung down her head and clung to the equally wet pale skin. The only protection against the cold ocean breeze was her red silk blanket, robed around her near naked body from prying eyes as well as the torrential rains.

The sudden flash of lighting and subsequent clap of thunder did nothing to faze her from her thoughts. It could have been the droplets of salty rain rolling down her eyebrows, or the fact that she had a restless sleep throughout the night. But neither of these could explain the sadness in her amber brown eyes, or the pout in her ruby red lips. Seven years in the Royal Fire Academy for girls, and her teachers would have a fit if they saw such a disgraceful break in her posture.

It had happened off and on these past five years. Sometimes she would just drift off and people were too afraid to catch her attention again, or that they thought she had grown bored and they would fearfully walk away. Or, like tonight, she would sleepwalk and always wake up standing at this cliff, staring off into the distance.

"Princess! Please come back inside, it's much too dangerous for you to be out here!"

Azula recognized the voice of her most trusted handmaid, and normally she would snap at her and act like there was nothing wrong. Today was different though. It was raining. There was only one other time that she woke up in the rain…

"Zuzu…you had mother…you have Uncle Iroh…who do I have?"

Inspired by irrel-chan's oekaki, "It sucks to be Azula"

(BTW, '-chan' is an honorific, not part of her name)
