Yuki sat down at his desk in his study. He opened his laptop, nimble fingers ready to type for the next few hours. As he opened his preferred writing program something on the side of his desk caught his attention. A notebook lay forgotten a bit away from his computer. Curious, he slid it over and opened to a random page and saw lyrics. Must be Shuichi's. His eyes skimmed the page expecting crap like all the pink haired idiot's other songs.

I want to take his eyes out
Just for hurting you
Yes I do
And I want to take his hands off
Just for touching you
Yes I do

…What the hell? Yuki flipped to the front page of the notebook. The back of the cover boldly stated "Property of Shindou Shuichi". Yep. This was Shu's book but… What the hell were those lyrics? Interest piqued, he went back to the page to read the rest.

And I want to rip his heart out
Just for hurting you
And I want to break his mind down
Yes I do, Yes I do, Yes I do

The blonde's eyes widened. These words… So angry… Not at all like the hyper little poptart he lived with. Not like the ray of sun that had wormed his way into his life making things just a bit brighter… Not that he'd ever admit that aloud.

And I want to make him regret
Life since he met you
Yes I do
And I want to make him take back
All that he took from you
Yes I do

Yuki inhaled sharply.

And I want to rip his heart out
Just for hurting you
And I want to break his mind down
Yes I do, Yes I do, Yes I do
And I want to rip his heart out
Just for hurting you
And I want to break his mind down
Yes I do, Yes I do, Yes I do

It was about Kitazawa… Was this how the bat really felt about…? Apparently. Yuki hadn't realized his lover felt so strongly. Wanting to avenge his pain. So wrapped up in his thoughts was he that he didn't notice the study door opening or hear the quiet footsteps coming up from behind him.

"Yuki?" a hesitant voice reached his ears from hi side. He looked up to see his lover gazing at him, looking concerned.

"Yuki, are you ok?" Shuichi asked gently. "I've been calling your name since I got home. I thought-" he stopped short as his gaze landed on the notebook in Yuki's hands. "Are those my- You weren't supposed to see that one." He said his voice slightly cracking.

An elegantly defined eyebrow rose. "The one song that doesn't suck as much as the others is the one I wasn't supposed to see?"

"I-"

"So you want to rip his heart out, huh?" the writer asked putting the book down and turning his chair towards his boyfriend. "Just for hurting me?"

"I-"

"Hatred much?"

"I hate that he hurt you!" The singer cried, eyes shining with unshed tears. "You deserved so much better. You loved him and he used you and then sold you like some whore!"

Yuki stared at the man infront of him, eying him carefully as he climbed onto his lap enveloping the older man in a tight embrace. Yuki brought his arms around Shuichi's back.

"You deserved so much more than that." Shu whispered and pulled away a bit to look into golden eyes. "I hate him because he hurt you."

"And I don't have to worry about that with you?" Yuki asked after a pause of silence. "You won't hurt me like that?"

"Never." Shuichi declared kissing his blonde boyfriend. "I'll never betray you or leave you. I love you Eiri."

And as their kiss deepened, Yuki knew he could believe it. He was safe in the arms of some one who wouldn't hurt him. And the hurt from his past healed over a bit more from the warmth of Shuichi.
