Authors Note: Sorry for everyone that is reading my other fic, Trouble at The Lab. I've started the third chapter, and should be finished soon. This is a series of B/B fics with music from Hillary Duff. One of them is going to be H/A, but that will probably be later! Please R&R. Enjoy!

Disclaimer: I don't own "Bones", or any of the music. I'm just having fun with them.

Little Voice

I won't tell you what I'm thinking

'Cause it's not the same thing you're thinking too.

You could say I got a best friend

And she's always telling me what to do.

Dr. Temperance Brennan, otherwise known as Bones, Tempe, and Bren, was sitting in the car with her partner. They had just finished a hard case, and Booth was driving her home. He can be so cute, she thought.

"Bones, you with me?" Booth asked.

"Sorry Booth, I was just thinking," she said.

"Must have been some pretty deep thoughts, care to share?" he asked, giving her his charm smile.

"No, and don't use your charm smile on me." She said.

"I've told you before, it's a mark of respect."

"Right, like I believe that."

"It's true." He said.

She's out of sight, but easy to find.

She's in the front of my mind.

That's right girl, don't tell him, it'll just ruin it. Remember, he likes to sleep around. Her mind told her.

The little voice in my head won't let me forget,

The little voice in my head is never misled,

All of this noise is what keeps me from making a

Mess.

The little voice in my head just won't let me get with you.

La lala la la…

So, Temperance Brennan didn't believe in love. Or "little voices." But she had one. It was constantly reminding her that people she loved left her. So, she didn't love anyone. She turned to look at Booth.

When I see you I admit

I lose my grip, and all of my cool.

You smell so sweet, just like my perfume

What have you been doing since I left you?

Brennan acknowledged his smell, of chocolate, and leather. When she saw him, she'd admit that she felt a few butterflies in her stomach. She also always checked to see if anything had changed about him.

You're always here, in my thoughts.

But that doesn't mean that it's on.

Sure, so he was always in her thoughts, even when he wasn't physically there. But that didn't mean that she liked him. It just meant that he was very good at sticking himself in your thoughts.

The little voice in my head won't let me forget,

The little voice in my head is never misled,

All of this noise is what keeps me from making a

Mess.

The little voice in my head just won't let me get with you.

La lala la la…

She wouldn't go out with him. She may have feelings for him, but they would have to stay just friends. He liked tall, long legged, blonds. Well, except for Cam, whom she liked to forget about.

I know I sound insane, like I'm playing game,

'Cause all I really want is you.

But there are some things a girl won't do.

Ok, she wanted him. He was, as Angela would put it, a smoking piece of manhood. But every time she thought of asking him out, the same thing happened.

The little voice in my head won't let me forget,

The little voice in my head is never misled,

All of this noise is what keeps me from making a

Mess.

The little voice in my head just won't let me get with you.

La lala la la…

So, they would stay just friends.

Authors Note 2: Sorry if that was a little confusing, but the last chorus is meant to be read like part of the story.
