Shaggy Dog Song

By Marcus L. Rowland

Willow swore off excess magic, but sometimes there was no choice. Eventually Buffy found a way to overcome the effects of an overdose; a few careful blows from Olaf's hammer sucked the dark magic from Willow's body without harming her.

Unfortunately Buffy wasn't around when Sweet hit town; Willow eventually vanquished him, but Faith had never used the hammer before.

Inevitably Faith broke into song when she called Buffy and asked for help. Unfortunately Andrew recorded the call. Since then Slayers the world over have loved to tease them with a chorus of "Is this the way to hammer Willow?"

End.

Inspired (for want of a better word) by Is This The Way To Amarillo, a 1971 song written by Neil Sedaka and Howard Greenfield.
