Thunder Rolls

Disclaimer: I don't own Naruto.

(A/N) Random I know but whatever. I hope you like.

Sasuke Uchiha was one of the best singers Konoha had ever seen. He had on many occasions preformed in Suna. His songs were so sad grown men were known to spontaneously burst into tears in the middle of one of his concerts. However after a bridge built by the Uchiha brothers fallowing the passing of their rather large family was crossed not long ago, He has found that he cannot sing the sad songs anymore. Unable to sing he locked himself away contemplating.

The first day he left the house he came to realize that even though he was no longer sad did not mean he could not see other peoples sorrow. A long time friend had invited him to spend the day hanging out, it was then he met her. Then that he knew. Naruto's girlfriend, Hinata. She seemed nice enough, but it was something beyond her gaze that intrigued him. And the song formulated.

Tonight was the first night back for Sasuke Uchiha and his fans were enthused. The song he said to his audience, was a prediction. One he hoped would never come true. He sat on a simple stool and placing his guitar in his lap, began to sing. A hauntingly beautiful song, which carried from Suna where he preformed to Konoha. Where a young woman suffered its melody.

Three thirty in the morning

Not a soul in sight

The cities looking like a ghost town

On a moonless summer night

Rain drops on the windshield

There's a storm moving in

He's heading back from somewhere

That he never should have been

And the thunder rolled

And the thunder rolled

'Damn Hinata. I'm sorry, I'm sorry.' He thought pressing his head against the steering wheel.

Every light is burning

In a house across town

She's pacing by the telephone

In her faded flannel gown

Asking for a miracle

Hoping she's not right

Praying it's the weather

That's kept him out all night

And the thunder rolled

And the thunder rolled

"Naruto, Be alright. My love be safe." Hinata begged aloud.

The thunder rolls

And the lightning strikes

Another loves grows cold

On a sleepless night

As the storm blows

All out of control

Deep in her heart

The thunder rolls

She stared out the window sadness pooling slowly in her eyes. She bit her lip; her eyes clenched shut before flickering back open.

She's waiting by the window

When he pulls into the drive

She rushes out to hold him

Thankful he's alive

She flung the door open to go running into his arms. Naruto, her Naruto, was alright.

But on the wind and rain

A strange new perfume blows

And the lighting flashes in her eyes

And he knows that she knows

And the thunder rolls

And the thunder rolls

"Naruto" A tear slips from her eye and she steps back. She shakes her head a hurt look in her eyes. She closes her eyes in pain her lips quivered and she turned her back.

The thunder rolls

And the lightning strikes

Another loves grows cold

On a sleepless night

As the storm blows

All out of control

Deep in her heart

The thunder rolls

As the last guitar string is plucked he looks back up. Once again his fans cry from his voice and song. But he knows, knows the truth. Hinata would hurt, he new where Naruto was. With a pretty pink haired model. And as he looks up he saw the strangest thing. The young Kazekage stood at the back staring right at him. As they made eye contact Gaara nodded, there was understanding in his eyes.

He new too. The thunder rolls.

(A/N) I might make it into more if I get enough support. The song was Thunder Rolls by Garth Brook and one of my favorites. Review and I will love you.
