DISCLAIMER: I do not own any part of Grey's Anatomy. If I did, I'd be partying with the cast instead of writing about their characters.

He stood in the closet, staring at his best friend. He had committed adultery with his best friend! One night of being drunk and he had done the unthinkable.

She tried talking to him, but there was no use. He stood there as stiff as a statue and tried to think of what his wife's reaction would be when she found out, which he knew was inevitable. But strangely, he didn't care. All he wanted to do was kiss his best friend again.

"I'm sorry," she said, staring at him.

"Shh," he said, putting his finger to her lips and kissing her. He couldn't believe he was committing adultery again, but all he wanted to do was stand there and kiss her over and over and over. He couldn't deny the spark they shared, something he had never seemed to have with his wife. It was a quickie marriage…he was regretting it more and more each day. It wasn't that he didn't love her…he did, but not in the way a husband should love his wife. He loved her more like a sister and mainly just married her for comfort after his father died (not that he would admit that to himself or anyone else). But there were fireworks there as he kept kissing his best friend, and he felt like holding onto her forever.

"George--"

"I love you, Izzie."

"I will always miss Denny and I will always love him, but…"

"Hmm?"

"I think I love you too."
