Summer has come and past

Alphonse Elric…

The innocent can never last

Beloved brother and friend…

Wake me up, when September ends…

Will be missed forever.

Here comes the rain again, falling from the stars, drenched in my pain again

The fight had been loud. Very loud, but not loud enough to drown out the high pitched scream.

As my memory rests, but never forgets what I lost…

Wake me up when September ends…

Edward Elric, 20 years old, last Elric left. He ran his fingers across the small indentations on the smooth, gray stone. Even though the freezing cold rain was coming down, he could barely feel them.

Summer has come and past, the innocent can never last…

Innocent. His brother was innocent. He didn't have to get dragged down into this, he didn't have to…

Wake me up when September ends…

There was a fight….a fight with an enemy army…

Never forgets what I lost…

Alphonse was only 16. He's passed a state alchemist test a year ago. Edward will never forget his determination; taking the test for a second time. But then there was the fight.

Bring out the bells again, like we did when spring began…

The fight was going well for their side. And they managed to win, thank god. "It's all my fault," whispered Edward, the sentence he'd been repeating to himself.

He felt as though it was, it was his fault. Winry had been fighting alongside them, and one of the enemy soldiers had taken her.

With the gun pointed at her head, he told Ed to give up or she gets it. Ed tried to get her back, but the man shot. Edward had managed to push the gun away at the last minute, only to hear another scream. His golden eyes widened as he realize whose scream it was.

Never forget…

It was all his fault. All his fault that Alphonse was dead. All his fault.

He would never forgive himself for that.
