Milo smiled as he saw his girlfriend, Andy, wrapped up in the sheets. The sunlight was hitting her just right, and it made her look like an angel. He softly kissed her on the lips and slid out of the bed. Throwing on his ruby red robe, he went downstairs to make the most important meal of his life.

Since the girls were away, he could very easily practice without the fear of any one overhearing him. As he pulled out the ingredients for strawberry crepes, he repeatedly went over how to propose to Andy.

"Andy, I know how much Les hurt you, but there are other men who don't slap their wives. Andy, we mean a lot to each other and I love you with all of my heart and all of my soul…." Milo shook his head. "Morton, that is the worse way to propose; bring up her ex…"

"Andy, honey, there comes a point in a relationship… Shit, it sounds like I am about to break up with her."

So he tried again. "Sometimes, people belong in a relationship where nothing comes of it and some are meant to live in pairs… Great, now it sounds like you are trying to get her on Noah's Ark."

He frowned as he thought once more. "Sometimes we talk about the future. I think now would be a good time to do it again… Great idea, Morton, let's make it sound like we need a five-hour-long conversation, and then the possibility of ending it."

Meanwhile, upstairs, Andy rolled over and noticed that Milo wasn't there. Then she could smell the strawberry crepes that Milo was cooking downstairs. A smile flickered across her face as she pulled on her light pink bathrobe and her slippers that matched. She padded down the stairs, and on her way down, she heard Milo practicing.

"I have no idea why I am so nervous. I love her with all my heart. I want to marry her, and I am pretty sure that she wants to marry me. I guess, when I go up there, I will just tell her that I love her and that I want to spend the rest of my life with her, and see how it goes from there. Andy!" Milo gasped, when he saw her on the stairs. "What are you doing up, sweetie?"

Milo walked over to her, wrapped his arms around her, and kissed her. "I was gonna bring breakfast to you," he said, trying not to sound guilty.

"It's OK, honey, I came to you." They both walked over to table and Milo sat her down, while he paced around the table.

"Milo, if you have something to say, just sit down and tell me. Oh, by the way, your assumption is right. I will say yes, but go ahead with what you were saying," Andy said with a smile.

"You heard me?" Milo gasped. "Andy, I wanted to do this the right way! But since you heard me, I guess I will just ask you." He got down on one knee and pulled out a beautiful ring. "Andy March Campbell, you are the love of my life and I can't imagine my life without you. Things have been hard for both of us in the past, but I know that the two of us will always be there for each other. So, Dr. Andy Campbell, will you marry me?"

"Yes, Milo Morton, I will marry you," Andy said, with tears in her eyes. He swept her off her feet and gave her kiss, and slipped the ring on her finger.
