Abby smiled to herself as the computer confirmed the match of the bullets she'd been analysing. She reached for her phone to inform Gibbs of this big whoop but before she could take another breath she was dragged to the ground by an arm that had snaked around her waist.
"Ahh! Get off me!" She would've continued yelling but a voice whispered in her ear.
"Shh, Abby calm down otherwise I'm never having children."
She wriggled in her assailant's grip so she was facing him, "Tony! What are you doing?"
"I'm testing a theory." Tony answered with a grin, "Now turn back round."
Abby did as she was told and puzzled over what Tony's theory was. She didn't have to wait long. She blinked in surprise as Gibbs came racing into her lab and stopped short at the sight of them both on the floor. "Hi Gibbs!"
"Abby," Gibbs paused taking in the situation with a confused frown on his face, "Are you okay?"
"Yeah I'm great." Abby flashed him a grin as he helped her up and as Tony started laughing.
"DiNozzo! What the hell do you think you're doing?" Gibbs had a threat in his tone but Abby could hear something else in the mix.
"I was, erm… you know, I was…" Dinozzo made a run for the door then he stopped turned back and squeaked excitedly, "I knew it!" and all that was left was a DiNozzo shaped blur.
"You sure you're okay?"
"Yeah, it's just, well… we're so busted!"
Gibbs chuckled and sighed, "I could always shoot him"
Abby giggled, "No, you better not, the director will know it was you. Oh I have your results, the gun you found is definitely the murder weapon. You wanna go find him before he gets too giddy?"
Abby tilted her head and regarded him curiously as he lent in towards her and whispered, "I'd rather do this." Their lips met to the sound of Abby's giggle.
