"We've been looking for you."

Don's heart ran cold at the sound of the voice behind him. He slowly turned around, dreading the sight he knew was waiting for him. Two of the FBI's finest, colleagues of his, only this time he wasn't on their side – he was the man they were after. He eyed the handcuffs dangling from one of the men's hands and frowned. "I don't suppose…"

"We could let you go?" one of the men asked in disbelief. "Not a chance."

His partner gave Don a stern look. "You knew what you were getting into and you still chose to go ahead with it. Now you have to do the time." With that being said, he grabbed Don's wrist and clicked the first bracelet in place.

"Fine," Don scowled. "Just tell me, who…?"

The second bracelet snapped shut and the two men stepped to either side of Don, revealing a very nervous and guilty looking face.

"Charlie!" Don exclaimed in shock. "Why you little… How could you do this to me?"

Charlie ducked his head and shrugged. "They're right, Don. You got yourself into this."

"But you, Charlie? Why did you have to be the one who sent them after me?"

"I can explain," the younger man pleaded.

"Forget it, Chuck." Don stood up straight and held his head up high as the two agents led him away. "Just remember… you're going to pay for this."

"I already am," Charlie whispered to his brother's retreating back.

His brother ignored the last comment as the two agents led him through the crowded area. Don found it harder and harder to hold his head up as he passed one familiar face after another. Colby, Megan, David, his dad… everyone was there and openly staring at him as he was led away.

A few minutes later Don was being pushed into a cell, watching helplessly as the barred door slammed shut behind him. His friends and family were all crowded around him, trying to hide their true emotions as they intently stared at him. It was Colby who finally broke the silence.

"Never thought I would see this day."

"Don Eppes behind bars," David joined in.

Megan shook her head. "I always thought he was such a good leader."

"Knock it off," Don growled.

"Donnie," Alan scolded as he approached his son's cell. "Is that any way to treat your friends?"

"Well," Charlie piped up from the background. "He is in jail."

"About that, Chuck," Don sighed. "How long am I in for?"

"Let's see," Charlie said, thoughtfully rubbing his finger along his bottom lip. "It's two dollars per minute and I paid sixty…"

"…Adding another ten dollars for every time you call me Chuck…"

"Charlie," Don warned.

"You'll be out in time for supper," Charlie assured him as he burst into laughter.

The incarcerated agent shook his head as he sagged onto the cot in his cell. "How did I let you guys talk me into this?"

"You're the one who didn't want to do the dunking booth this year," Megan reminded him. "Besides, the First Annual Cops Fighting Cancer Jail-N-Bail is raising a lot of money from what I hear."

"See, Donnie?" Alan asked with a smile. "This is a good thing."

"I know," Don nodded, finally breaking into a grin. "But next year I want to be an arresting officer, not a potential 'fugitive'."

The End
