"Nothing edible can come from a package," he declared.

Kagome poked the tv dinner with her fork. "Hmph. No dessert for you, then." Really. If he was going to follow her through the well, the least he could do was not scoff at everything in her fridge.

"This Sesshoumaru is relieved."

Kagome rolled her eyes and pulled a carton of cookies n' cream from the freezer.

"Guess I don't need a bowl if I'm not sharing," she said loftily, digging in.

He stiffened. Gave a surreptitious little sniff.

Hah. Probably never smelt anything like it before.

"What is that?" he finally said.

"Ice cream." She gave the spoon a slow lick.

Minutes passed. "May I try some?"

"Mmm," she said around a decadent mouthful. "No."

"No?"

"No," she agreed. She wagged a spoonful of ice cream at him. "I know how much you hate packaged food." His eyes followed the spoon. "I wouldn't want to offend your senses." Opening wide, she brought the spoon back and—

Drip.

She blinked down at her chilly breasts. "Oops."

And then he was before her, eyes hooded, smirking—

And then she was on the floor, his face buried in her chest, lapping at her—

And then, oooh, chocolate and whipped cream and maple syrup and sliced strawberries and sweet, dark, sinful, mmmmm—

"Perhaps the package is not the problem," he conceded, sometime during the night, as he drizzled warm honey over her breasts. "Perhaps it merely needs to be served correctly."

She agreed heartily.
