Raincheck

It was dark and crowded but Jack didn't care. He had his second-in-command against the wall of a storage closet with her lips moving desperately against his and her hands under his shirt, running up and down his chest in soothing patterns.

That and the fact that it was becoming an everyday occurrence for them more than made up for the cramped space.

It took him a moment to realise that her hands had stopped and she was pulling away.

"Sir? Aren't we supposed to be at a briefing?" Her voice was ragged and hot. So very hot!

With a grin, Jack leaned forward and kissed her again, silencing her. His hands tangled in her hair and he really, really wanted to keep going but…

He slowly pulled back and offered her a smile instead. "Raincheck on this?" he asked, his fingers still playing with her hair. He waggled his eyebrows suggestively and ran his other hand over her arm.

Sam leaned in for one last kiss before they headed off and smirked at him. He always did ask the obvious questions! He really did! Pulling him gently by the arm towards the door, she whispered in his ear.

"Definitely."
