Opening a brown eye hazily, a man of twenty-three looked up from the soft white pillow he was resting his face upon and looked up, arching an eyebrow. Not noticing that the man had awoken, the other person in the bed- a tall, well-built man with feathered black hair- continued his business, which was writing in a black notebook, the writing on the cover reading Death Note in Japanese. A thick pair of frames rested themselves on his nose.
The now awake Yagami Raito sighed, plopping his head of brown hair back on the pillow, facing the wall. This action caught the other man's attention, noticeable as he raised an eyebrow, eyeing the man four years younger than he. He merely shrugged it off, assuming his lover was having a dream, and continued to write.
Not being able to be seen by the raven-haired man, Raito rolled his eyes. Maybe it was a bad idea to let him use that notebook. Ryuk had even said that Mikami Teru seemed to be the type to get overly-excited about his work- even more than a shinigami would. Hell, thought Raito, He practically is a shinigami.
Maybe if I hit him hard enough with this pillow, I can knock him unconscious. The man was getting fed up. It was known that the Yagami didn't sleep much, but when he did he liked his silence, and he thought he had finally found the one person who had understood that golden rule. Do Not Disturb. Honestly, did he have to paint it on his freaking FOREHEAD or something?!
It was that last 'Delete' that had set the brown-haired man off. He gripped the sheets to calm himself, sighed, and turned, looking up at Mikami Teru. "Hey, Mikami?" He asked his lover, poking him in the side. Looking down at Raito, Teru gave a very rare smile. "Yes, Kira?" he asked, putting the pen down on a nearby nightstand. "What is it?"
"Oh, nothing much. Just…" With this, he lunged; placing his lips on Teru's roughly, kissing him. As he pulled away from the raven-haired man- who was now turning red ever-so-slightly- he smiled.
"Shut the hell up."
