Advice From an Action Hero

Some people live out their entire lives without ever having a true walk off into the sunset, revenge on the bad guy, sunrise on the beach first kiss movie moment. I, on the other hand, have lived an entire action/sci-fi, save the world, full length feature film. Oh, yeah…there's some romance in there too.

There is plenty of people who would give up all of their worldly possessions to live what could be an action flick. Those people have no idea what it's like to be responsible for the lives of every human being on the planet, yet be completely focused on saving you own life, while, at the same time, trying to make your life worthwhile because the possibility of survival have been reduced down to an even .5 anyway.

And, it's highly doubtful that they know what it feels like to experience a complete state of terror, one that controls your mind and takes over your body; and they have no idea what it's like to fight that terror and force your mind to think of ways to make your body useful.

But I am here to tell those people that in the end, if you manage to live that long, it is completely and utterly worth every ounce of terror, every cut, and every bruise. Because, at the end of it all, even though people won't believe me, I know I helped to save the world, and not only did I get "the guy"- ya know, the hero that does that last minute detail that finally lets good prevail throughout the planet and be rids the universe of evil?- yeah, he's mine, but I also managed to stay close friends with the robot aliens, a.k.a. the autobots, who are the reason humanity still exists.

So, my last piece of advice for all of you adventure seekers – get in car.

Let me know what ya think. Maybe I'll write a story or something.
