"Guess who," he chimed, his hands covering her eyes. She smiled and he could feel it.

"Well, let me see…Does he have blonde hair?" Ginny asked.

"Yes," the "mystery" person said.

"Does he have mysterious grey eyes?"

"Is he hot?" she asked, laughing.

"I think so," he said jokingly.

"Is he an amazing kisser?" Ginny asked, licking her lips.

"You can be the judge of that." He walked around her, his hands still on her eyes, and kissed her on the lips.

"Yep, I'd say he's pretty good," she said when they broke apart.

"You wanna guess who it is yet?" he asked slyly.

"I dunno. Is it…Draco Malfoy?" His hands came away from her eyes. There he stood before Ginny, grinning. And what was great was that it wasn't an evil smirk like when Voldemort had full control of his family and he could do nothing but be loyal. It was a real smile.Ginny smiled back.

"I got you something, Gin," he said, pulling a long velvet box out of his pocket.

"Oh, I love when it's in a velvet box. That's a good sign." She smirked at him as he handed it to her. She had expected to see a necklace of some sort, but when she opened it, she was surprised to see six diamond rings, all different looking in one way or another, lined up in the box. Ginny gasped.

"Draco! This is amazing!"

"I know." She rolled her eyes and kissed him, throwing her arms around his neck. He flicked his eyebrows romantically at her and kissed back. He moved his hands to her waist.

"Thank you SO much, Draco! You are so wonderful! I love you!" She hugged him, but Draco froze.

She said she…loved me…No one has ever said that to me…especially my parents…

Ginny noticed his sudden silence. "What is it, Draco?" she asked him compassionately.

"Noth-" he started, but saw the accusative Weasley look on her face. "Okay, fine. Well, no one…has ever said…they loved me before…not even my parents…they didn't care. They loved the Dark Lord more than they loved me. They were…." Draco didn't finish his sentence. Ginny knew what he meant.

"Oh, Draco. I'm so sorry. But you have to know: I'm here for you. I love you. And, if they finally get around to their senses and start to understand, Harry, Ron, and the rest of my family will be there for you, too."

"Yeah, right. Like that'll ever happen," Draco mumbled.

"Draco, you must understand how they're feeling. After all that happened with Voldemort and everything, it's just hard to accept it. Hermione's come around already. I think she can persuade the others as well. Just be positive. Because you're loved."

"Thanks, Ginny," he said gratefully. "You really are a wonderful person and I'm sorry for everything bad that I've ever done to you. Thanks. I…I love you, too."

They hugged and a tear long-overdue dripped from his nose.
