Chapter One: The Moon Is A Paper Lantern
Home. They were home again. For them, taking a break and finally spending some time off the road was a great decision both of them made. They resided in the town of Semerah, Massachusetts. A place far from the city and in the country side. Phil Brooks (other wise known as CM Punk in the ring) lied in the grass of his backyard. His wife Jamie was with him resting at his side.
"It's gorgeous isn't it?" Phil said softly.
"It most certainly is." Jamie responded. "I'm glad we took off work for a bit. I mean, how often do you get to do this?"
"Yeah, you're right." Phil agreed.
They were gazing up at the stars. Each one of them reminded Jamie of big, bright diamonds. In the sky, the moon hung in the sky like a paper lantern. The wind blew a gentle and cool breeze across them.
Jamie cuddled up closer to her husband's warm body. Her head snuggled on his shoulder.
"I missed being alone with you." Jamie looked into his soft, kind eyes.
"I missed being alone with you too." Phil said.
He rolled over on his side, as Jamie did the same fixing she to face him. Both of them got closer to each other.
Jamie put a hand on his cheek. She smiled at Chicago native. "How much do you love me?"
"More than you love me." Phil smirked.
"And how much is that pray tell?" Jamie raised an eyebrow.
"More than you'll ever imagine." Phil told her. And without another word, he placed a soft kiss onto her lips. Jamie returned his kiss with one of her own. It started off slow-paced that evolved into one more passionately. He slipped his hand onto Jamie's neck massaging it and then slowly going to the back of her head. He found his fingers playing with the blonde strands of her hair. Jamie tucked her arm underneath his and putting her hand onto his back bringing him more near her.
Nothing could ruin the moment they shared as they kissed beneath the stars.
