A/N: Slight DEATHLY HALLOWS spoilers! Also, everyone thank JsyGirl for noticing that the stone is black, not red.
Disclaimer: I don't own HP or GO.
Death sighed as he stared at the detritus of the forest floor.
Adam Young, who also happened to be the Antichrist, leaned against a tree dejectedly. "What are you looking for?" he asked, Death's searching gaze still trained on the leaves.
"A BLACK STONE," Death's seemingly disembodied voice rang out.
Adam groaned again. "That's borin'," he complained.
"WELL THEN, YOU SHOULDN'T HAVE COME."
"Well how was I supposed to know this was Death's job," he said, gesturing toward Death's fruitless search. "I thought I was going to see wars and…death."
"YOU SHOULD HAVE BEEN HERE YESTERDAY."
"What do you mean?" Adam asked. Death ignored him. Adam continued grumbling, "I think – "
"FOUND IT," Death said, cutting off the young Antichrist. Death swiftly bent over and pulled something from amidst the leaves.
Adam looked in Death's hand and saw a small black stone cut neatly in two. "It's broken! Well, this has been a waste." Death once again ignored Adam and instead crushed the remainder of the stone in his hand, letting the now dull black dust lightly sprinkle the ground. "What'd you do that for?!" Adam exclaimed.
Death, however, had already started walking away. "I CREATED IT. IT WAS MINE TO DESTROY."
"Oh, that explains a lot," Adam griped. "You're job's borin'," he stated for what seemed like the millionth time that night.
"OKAY, I'M TAKING YOU HOME."
