Title: Dilemmas and Distractions
Rave's prompt: Phone
Randomly selected pairing: Daiora
Disclaimer: I don't own Digimon.
Notes: I hate mood swings, because for absolutely no reason I feel foul again. But, on the plus side, we've ordered Chinese for dinner.
He's never realised it until now, but Daisuke's ringtone is quite possibly the most intrusive sound in the world. It's loud, sudden and right now it's pissing him off to an obscene amount; how is he supposed to concentrate on the task at hand if his phone won't shut up?
His lips haven't left Sora's, but she still manages to suggest that he answers the call. She tends to be rather good at multitasking like that. He pulls back to give her a quizzical glance, and she explains that it might be someone important. Maybe a football match was cancelled, or perhaps there's been an accident in his family. He does nothing but continue to kiss her, and he has no intention of doing otherwise. Her protests cease, and eventually so does the ringing.
The two of them are left in peace for about ten minutes. And then an even more intrusive ringtone breaks into their activities. Daisuke didn't even think it was possible for anything more irritating than his own phone to exist, but this time Sora pulls back with a sheepish grin on her face.
She ought to answer it. It's probably the same person who called Daisuke's phone before; one of the other Digidestined, no doubt. Now that she thinks about it, it's probably Taichi, calling them both because he wants to play football. It might even be her mother, though she can't for the life of her think of a reason why her mother would want to call her.
But Daisuke pulls her back down. Whoever it is can wait; the two of them are already occupied.
