Fear. Some speculate fear as a figment or illusion of the mind triggered by uncertainty of ones own future. Those who believe this are the people that end up dead because they thought they were above their own fear. Or because they didn't want to know what fear truly was. Fear is real. It lives in the depths of every soul waiting to emerge and wreak havoc. But it takes different forms. It takes the shapes of the things that scare you most. You can't run from fear either. If you run, it gets more ravenous. All you can do is confront your fear. But even if you can triumph a fear, a new one finds its way back to finish the job.
Shut your door. Lock your window and leave on a light because if you wake up tomorrow then you know you beat…the doppelganger.
