They shared the same eyes. Brilliant blues that ran deep. They communicated all their emotions through their eyes. Their eyes betrayed them. Their eyes let the whole world know what they were feeling.

"Max?" Lucy whispered softly.

Max lifted his head up, turning slowly to face her. There was pain etched throughout his blood shot eyes. "I miss him," she whispered into the chilly air as she watched the water ripple by.

"I know," Max replied, letting his cheek drop down to rest against her silky blonde hair.

"You miss him too?"

"I do, Luce, I miss him too."

She blinked her eyes and felt the tears roll down her cheeks. A small, choked sob managed to escape from her lips. It always hurt Max to watch her cry. All he wanted was to make her pain go away. There was only one way to do that. His fingers brushed her cold tears away and pulled her close. They both needed Jude back in their lives; it was the only thing that would help them heal.

Max closed his eyes while he embraced his sister. He would give her the whole world just to see her smile again. When he opened his eyes back up, he found himself staring into his sister's eyes. She had the same pain and sadness in hers like he had in his own. He pressed their foreheads together lightly and gave her the tiniest of smiles. He knew what he had to do now.
