My first ever prompted drabble from Lady Timelord, the word being 'Cutlery', I found this really hard to do so go easy on me lol, and hopefully she'll beta it for me if I ask her nicely :D
Which of course I did :D lots of love Lady T xxx
"Rose, they're all the same, just grab a random box and let's go." But Rose wasn't listening, she was off down the aisle examining each one, eyeing the contents and looking at the patterns on all of them.
"But I don't like any of them; they're all plain and not very nice to look at."
"Well how about these ones? They have a nice pattern on them."
"Yeah, but there's not very many in there."
He threw his hands up in the air and let out an exasperated sigh.
"There are only two of us!!"
"Yeah but we might get company."
"Like who?" She struggled for an answer before the Doctor continued.
"Exactly, let's just pick one and go please, we've been here half an hour!" He was vowing silently in his head to never bring Rose shopping for anything ever again, she was fussy over everything! Even these blasted things, they weren't even important, fingers were invented for a reason and in his opinion they should be used in every aspect. He suddenly realised she was talking and he tuned into her voice again.
"Cutlery is important Doctor, just because you don't use it doesn't mean I have to suffer with plastic knives and forks on the TARDIS, I like to eat my food with proper metal knives and forks, you know, the type of cutlery normal people use!..." but the Doctor had given up, walking off, picking the first box he reached off the shelves and going to pay for it, with Rose grumbling in his ear about how impatient and typically male he was, alien or not.
