Disclaimer: Prince of Tennis and all of its characters do not and never will belong to me.

Author's Notes: I hope this made sense. xD; Came up with this while I was trying to sleep. I have been ignoring dear Momo and Ryoma for far too long. D: And if there are no roller coasters that says people under 151 cm (Ryoma's height) cannot ride, LET'S PRETEND THERE IS. xD I hope you guys enjoy it. :D

It Was Funny

Momo's instinctive reaction was to immediately cover his mouth and try not to laugh, but that instinct never did prove useful. His punishment for laughing was having Ryoma not talk to him for nearly the whole afternoon, no matter how much he begged and groveled. Honestly, who would have thought that tennis prodigy Ryoma Echizen would be too short for a roller coaster?

It was funny, damn it.

It wasn't the normal roller coaster. Ryoma could ride that. This one was... more thrilling, more exhilarating, and required tall people. Something that Ryoma was not. Still, it was funny. Ryoma had no sense of humor.

"Come on, Ryoma, don't be like that." Momoshiro mumbled, walking beside him and watching him from the corner of his eye. He frowned when the boy didn't reply and just continued sipping at his Ponta with that same deadpan expression that he had had on for nearly three hours now. Momo knew he was sulking. "Ryomaaa"

They had left the amusement park nearly half an hour ago and were on their way to nowhere, but they had somehow ended up in one of the parks that was littered with birds and fallen leaves. As they passed by a trash bin, Ryoma threw his now empty can of Ponta.

There was that instinctive reaction again. Momo tried -- he really, really tried -- not to laugh as the can hit the edge but instead of falling inside the bin, it landed on the ground with a dull clank. Ryoma's sour expression was enough for him to let out a mere squeak and just swallow the rest of his chuckle inside.

"Ryomaaa." Momo tried again, this time putting his hands together and bowing at least twice, hoping that his sheepish expression would at least make Ryoma speak to him. "Come on, that's not cool. Not cool at all!"

It didn't. It did, however, make Ryoma look at him, which was a start.

Ryoma lifted a finger and pointed at a nearby vending machine, and Momo immediately shoved all thoughts of 'too much ponta is bad for you' at the back of his head and rushed to the machine, waiting impatiently as the coin registered and a can was pushed forward, only to fall in the open compartment at the bottom.

Afterwards, when they were already sitting on the bench beside the vending machine covered with an awkwardness that Ryoma seemed to be immune to, Momo gathered enough energy to cough out, "Am I forgiven?"

The kiss that he received on the cheek told him he was.

Happy, he enveloped Ryoma in a big hug, and kissed him smack on the lips, not noticing that the can of Ponta slipped from Ryoma's grasp due to the surprise, and the purple liquid seeped out and was absorbed by the soil.

Needless to say, Momo spent the way home groveling for forgiveness yet again.
