"I keep on falling iiiinnnn…and out of love with you…" I belted out at the top of my lungs. Edward was gone hunting and Charlie was out fishing, so I was free to sing loudly without worrying about anyone hearing me.

A few minutes later, I stepped out of the bathroom, toweling my hair dry, still singing. I tripped over a pair of jeans lying haphazardly on the ground and fell.

Right into my fiancée.

"I'm glad you're in love with me, but I really don't want you falling again." Edward chuckled.

"Edward!" I shrieked, blood flooding my face. "What are you doing here?"

"I came back early." He shrugged with a smile on his face.

"How long have you been here?" I demanded.

His lips twitched. "You have a beautiful singing voice, love." Edward murmured into my hair, pulling me closer.

"No I don't!" I groaned and buried my face in his chest. "Edward, you were supposed to be gone. No one was supposed to hear me." I mumbled to his shirt, humiliated.

"You really do have a beautiful voice, Bella." He leaned back to smile at me.

Suddenly his eyes widened in excitement. "Come to my house." He offered.

I looked at him reproachfully. "Why?" I asked warily.

"Because." He pressed his lips to mine once before pulling me onto his back and running out of the house.

Running with Edward was nice. It was hard to believe that when he first ran with me on his back, I was terrified. Now the feeling of the wind in my hair, the ground speeding past me, was exhilarating. I could hardly wait to be a vampire, able to run with Edward, hand in hand, instead of relying on him to get where we needed to go quickly.

Instead of setting me down once we reached his enormous house, he carried me in – so that I wouldn't bolt I assumed. He sat on his piano bench and I unhooked my arms from around his neck, sliding onto the bench next to him.

"Okay, what's up, Edward?" I asked, just a bit worried.

He didn't answer, but instead took the lid off his piano. He placed his long, white fingers on the ivory keys and began to play the familiar opening to a song.

Fallin'.

"No." I said frantically. "No, no, no. I'm not singing. No way."

Edward just continued to play, a smile tugging at the corner of his lips.

"Edward, no."

He sighed and changed the song, now playing my lullaby. Edward turned to look at me, still playing, his topaz eyes smoldering, thoroughly dazzling me.

"Please?" he asked in his velvet voice. That was no fair – he was such a cheater!

While he still had me dazzled, he started playing the opening to Fallin' again.

Before I knew it, I was singing along quietly. "I keep on falling iiiinnnn…and out of love with you…" When I didn't stop singing, Edward grinned and his eyes were filled with such love that I practically melted on his piano bench.

"I keep on falling in and out of love with you.

I never loved someone way that I love you…"
