Author's Note: Another drabble. . .I got the idea from remembering a comment I made in my filmfodder review/recap of "Prophecy Girl." As with "Taken Literally," logic is mostly conspicuous here by its complete absence. : - ).


As the lair shook, The Master shouted, "Yes! YES! Shake, Earth! This is a sign! We are in the final days! My time has come! Glory! GLORY!"

"I heard you the first time. . .and could you BE more ugly?"

The Master caught a glimpse of blonde hair and a red dress before a well-manicured fist plunged him into darkness.

Colin watched the Master's head separate from his body as both parts dusted, leaving only bare skeleton. The blonde woman shook her head, glanced contemptuously at the tiny vampire, then departed, muttering:

"I'll come when I'm damned good and ready."
