"Hey, I recognize these pictures," Vala commented as she flipped through a stack of files in Daniel's office. Daniel looked up briefly to see what, exactly, she recognized, returning immediately to his work.

"Hm."

"They're from Vis Uban," she continued. "I spent a few months there a couple years ago."

"Hm."

"I take it you went there."

Daniel rolled his eyes, not looking up. "Yeah, lived there for a while, actually."

"Did they ever tell you about this guy they called…uh…Arrom?" Vala asked, smiling widely. Daniel's head snapped up, staring at her. Vala didn't notice his reaction, however, and continued. "They seemed pretty excited about him when I was there. He must've just left or something."

Daniel coughed gently, lowering his head slowly back to his work. "Yeah, I've heard of him."

"Amnesiac," Vala said, off-handily. "Extremely gorgeous, according to the females of the town."

Daniel hurried to busy himself in his work, the tips of his ears turning pink. "I knew him."

Know it was Vala's turn to snap to attention. "You did?" she asked wistfully. "I envy you! I heard he was found stark naked. I really wish I had been there."

"Vala!" Daniel chided sharply, looking up. She laughed.

"Oh, come on, Daniel. You shouldn't be so shocked by that by now."

He shook his head, looking away again. "You don't get it," he muttered. Vala raised an eyebrow, an amused smile playing on her lips.

"What don't I get?"

Daniel sighed, setting his pencil down and giving his friend a hard stare. "I'm Arrom. I was, at least."

Vala stared, shocked. Daniel blushed, looking away again.

"It was right after I descended. Eventually the team came, recognized me, and took me home. Still took me a little while to remember myself."

Slowly, the familiar grin grew on Vala's face. Daniel noticed it out of the corner of his eye and glanced up questioningly.

"So they were right," she decided. "Arrom is extremely gorgeous."
