Yankee Pot Roast
I don't own coke, or Twilight!
The Cullens are over generous. Case-in-point: they insisted, no let me rephrase that; forced me to go out to Kobe's. Their excuse was that they didn't have any food in the house, so they had to take me out to dinner, buy themselves some dinner, which they wouldn't eat, for obvious reasons. This was an excuse to spend some money.
"Table for eight, please." Edward said and flashed a smile at the hostess.
Hostess-Girl smiled back, promiscuously. Oh, I would never get used to girls hitting on my Edward.
"This is so fun!" a voice said in my ear.
I turned around to a very excited Alice, bouncing up and down, and Jasper trying to hold her down.
"Alice, we're only in a restaurant, and I'll be eating food." I said.
"Bella, we haven't eaten food in over a hundred years, or maybe more." Carlisle said, smiling. "This is a big thing for us."
"I'll be seating you now!" the hostess said, smiling at the Cullen men.
Esme, Rosalie, Alice, and I sent he dirty looks as we passed, theirs being more scary then mine. If looks could kill, (which Alice, Esme, and Rosalie do on a biweekly basis) she would be dead right now.
"I suck at don't-hit-on-my-boyfriend-you-hooker looks!" I said to Rosalie.
"Dear, you just need to look at her like you're going to devour her flesh." Esme said, smiling.
"I'm not a vampire, so that would sort of be cannibalism." I said.
"Oh, right. I've got to talk to Edward about changing you…" Esme said, sitting next to Carlisle, who was at the head of the table.
"Yeah Eddie," Emmett said, pouting, "I can't even hug poor Bella without hurting her, and her life is not complete with out one of my hugs!"
"Emmett, your hugs are strangling." Rosalie said, piping in.
Our drinks came, I getting coke and the Cullens getting Cokes also.
"What are you getting, dear?" Esme asked politely.
"Yankee Pot Roast." I replied.
Jasper's eye started twitching, and I was beginning to get worried. What did I do? What did I say? And then it hit me like a ton of bricks.
Jasper still hated Yankees.
