The Bird Chases the Cat
By Silver Sailor Ganymede

It was rather ironic, Zakuro mused. Clich├ęd, perhaps, but most certainly one of the most ironic things she had ever seen.
In the normal run of things, cats chased birds. The cat would lie in wait for the perfect little birdie to pass by and then pounce, capturing the helpless little thing for good.

In this situation it was rather the same, only not. Neither the 'cat' nor the 'bird' was aware of their roles yet, but Zakuro could see it clearly already. Yes, she could see it oh so clearly, and that was what made the situation so wonderfully ironic.

In the normal run of things, cats chased birds. In this situation it was the bird that was chasing the cat.
