The raven stood in shock. "What do you mean, dobe?" He murmured. The blonde only shook his head. "I'm sorry, Sasuke. I just can't. You're not, I can't deal with you right now, this isn't.. it won't work. I just can't look at you like I did before."

Sasuke looked at him as though he almost wanted to laugh, but was too heart broken. "S-So.. I'm not good enough for you anymore, dobe? I'm too.. different, now?"

Naruto looked away, saying nothing, which only served to infuriate and hurt the Uchiha more. His silence said it all. "What did you expect, dobe? Did you think that if you found me, everything would be fine again? Normal? You thought it would be easy!? Did you!?" He demanded. "Did you think that you could change me, change what three years of hell did to me? Did you think it would be that simple?! Are you that stupid?"

The blonde finally looked back at him, his blue eyes seemed almost cold compared to the anger and hurt burning in the Uchiha's. "I'm sorry, Sasuke. But I just, can't look at you.. I can't make it normal, knowing... Knowing what you did, with.. him."

Sasuke froze. "What?" He breathed the word out, almost paralyzed with disbelief. "I.. how dare you.. I DID WHAT I HAD TO!"

"To do what, Sasuke? Become stronger? WE could've made you stronger! You just wanted the easy way out!" The blonde accused. With this the Uchiha's temper flared.

"Easy?! You think that was EASY, Naruto!? You think, what I went through was easy? I did what I had to do to survive in that hell. So I'm SO sorry, if you can't handle that." He snapped. "I'm sorry. That I thought you were better than that."

"Sasuke," Naruto began. The Uchiha only stared at him with hardened eyes. "No, shut up, Naruto. I don't want to hear it. Just stay the hell away from me."

'Why, Naruto? I loved you... all I've thought of, all this time, was you..' The Uchiha thought miserably, as he stumbled almost blindly back to his home. 'I kept waiting. Hoping.. that, that you could help me. I couldn't, I couldn't change by myself, I needed your help.. am I that disgusting to you now?'

The silver haired jounin frowned as the teen wandered by him, looking absolutely desolate. "Sasuke?" He asked, looking up from his Icha Icha Paradise book and following the other with his eyes. He got no response, he doubted the boy even heard him, which told him it was really bad. He sighed and decided to follow, which he also doubted Sasuke noticed.

"Sasuke," he spoke louder, his voice more commanding this time. The brunette paused and turned around, looking surprised at his sensei. His eyes were distant, and he didn't speak a word. He didn't trust his voice not to betray him.

"What's wrong, Sasuke?" Kakashi asked, approaching the boy and placing a hand on his shoulder. Sasuke still said nothing and Kakashi frowned. 'Something must be seriously wrong.' He thought, only confirming his own suspicion as Sasuke allowed himself to be lead effortlessly to the jounin's house.

"Kakashi-sensei.." He murmured finally, while standing in the jounin's kitchen. Kakashi looked at him, releived to finally have heard a word from the boy. "hm?"

"It can't ever be the same again, can it?" He murmured, Kakashi frowned.

"Why do you think that, Sasuke? You know we've all forgiven you," He began. Sasuke glared, and Kakashi immediately noticed the moisture building on the edges of his eyes. "Not Naruto." The Uchiha murmured. Kakashi blinked. "What do you mean, Sasuke? He spent all this time--"

"I'm... too different, Kakashi-sensei. I've changed too much, he doesn't... He doesn't love me, anymore."
