"What would you do if you had telekinetic powers?" John murmured in Elizabeth's ear, while running the fingers of one hand in gentle circles over her stomach. He buried his head in the crook of her neck for a moment, kissing her pale skin before pulling back to look at her.

Elizabeth moaned; her eyes fluttered closed for a second. "I…don't know," she admitted after a moment. "I guess I would use the powers to speed up doing the paperwork." She chewed thoughtfully on her bottom lip.

John scoffed. "I should have known," he teased. "How would you do that, exactly? I mean, would you move the files around to sort them out or something?"

Smiling, Elizabeth shrugged. "Something like that."

They fell silent.

"There would be more time for this," Elizabeth added in explanation, earning a smug grin from John. "This is nice."

John nodded. "Yeah, it is." He sat up suddenly, breaking physical contact for a moment and immediately regretting his decision to move. "So are you going to ask me what I'd do?"

"If you had telekinetic powers?"

"Yeah," he confirmed.

Turning her head to look up at John again, she smiled mysteriously. "No, I'm not. I'm pretty sure I know what you would do already." Her gaze drifted pointedly over to the assortment of objects on the bedside table.

"You know me well," John smirked. He leaned down to kiss Elizabeth once more, on her lips first and then trailed down her neck and lower, lower. "I think it works just as well without telekinesis, though," he whispered teasingly.
