Edward shot me an exasperated look. "No!"

I pouted, acting oblivious to his reasoning. "Aww… Come on, why not? Geeze!"

"Because! You'll lose your soul!!!" You see, Edward has a very one-sided view on the whole turning-me-into-a-vampire-thing… I want to be with him forever, but he says that he doesn't want to take my soul away. I don't believe that would happen, and neither does Carlisle, but… he does. Big meanie.

"No I won't and we both know that!" I argued venomously, and scowled at him as he shook with silent laughter at my outrage.

Mr. Banner shot an irritated look at us. "Would you two be quiet, please? I'm trying to teach here, in case you haven't noticed."

"Sorry," I apologized.

"Yeah, sorry." Edward looked over, rolled his eyes, and than started to pay close attention to our lesson.

There was no way he was getting out of it that easily.

"So why won't you do it? It's not about my soul, we've talked about that, so what is it?" I whispered frustrated.

"I don't want to talk about this right now."

Everyone turned to look at me, and Mr. Banner looked like he was about to flip his lid.

Dang, we were making a scene.

Mike was the first to speak up. "Ummm… Bella, why did you just shout out Bite Me?"

"Shut up, Mike. None of your business," I shot at him. He gave me a hurt look and went back to his work.

Mr. Banner's face faded back to its original color, and he looked at all three of us. "Mr. Cullen, Miss Swan, and Mr. Newton- Please leave this class, or be quiet for goodness sake!!"

"Ok!" I jumped out of my seat, grabbed Edward's hand, and dragged him out of the classroom, intent on continuing their discussion.

Mr. Banner shrugged his shoulders and murmured to himself, "Hmmm… didn't think those two would actually leave… Oh well, turn to page 394. Finally, some peace and quiet!"
