I own nothing, except the OC.

There is a sort of Author's note at the end of this, so please read it!!

The man sighed in his sleep, as he turned over on his stomach. His arm, which was supposed to fall on the person sleeping next to him, fell on thin air. Groaning, he rolled over on his back and glanced at the open door of their bedroom.

The clock on the bedside table read 3:21 a.m. There was only one place she would be at this time in the morning. Sitting up and grabbing the shirt off of the chair next to the bed, Randy got up and walked out.

Out in the hallway, He smiled as he stared the pictures along the wall. It showed their life together. From old pictures, when they were little and playing house, up until their wedding day. He continued down the hall and stopped at an open door.

"You should still be in bed." He said, slowly walking into the room.

The woman standing at the window didn't turn, she only tightened her arms across her chest. Randy sighed and walked farther into the room, standing behind her.

"Katie, baby. What's wrong?" He asked, turning her around to face him. The look on her face was unrecognizable. For the past week now, Randy had been woken up to her no longer being in the bed. And for the past week, she had always been in this room when he went looking for her. Katie turned her face away from him.

"I'm scared, Randy. I'm really scared."

His hands were placed on her shoulders, and he slowly moved one to the back of her neck, tangling his fingers in her curly brown hair.

"I know baby, i know. But we can do this. You know we can." He turned her head back towards him and flashed his famous smirk. Katie broke into giggles and hugged him.

"I know. We have our family." Randy nodded. She wasn't just talking about their related family. Everyone in the WWE was considered their family. Looking around the room, He smiled.

The nursery had been finished a while ago, when Kate was about 6 months pregnant. They had found out the baby was a girl. And John, Hunter, Dave, and Jeff had come over and helped him paint the walls a light pink. They assembled all of the white furniture, the crib, the rocking chair, the changing table, everything.

And the girls had gone all out with shopping. They bought decorations for the room, and had a blast with buying little outfits for her. Katie was now a week away from her due date, and everyone was anxious. Randy was the worst, in any case. He was going to be a dad. He was going to have a baby girl, and he couldn't wait.

"Just think. In about a week, there will be a little Mara Joyann Orton in this room." Randy shifted one of his hands down to rub his wife's large belly. Kate smiled and nodded.

He yawned and stood back. "I think we should get back to bed."

"Ok. I'll be there in a minute." Katie walked over to the crib and rearranged the stuffed animals. One animal stood out from the others. It was a hot pink bear, with 'Mara Joyann Orton' written in white across the stomach. Vince McMahon and his wife Linda had gotten it for them when they had picked out a name.

Randy had just stepped out into the hallway when he heard her call his name.

"Randy, My water just broke!"

End.

Okay. I realized this is the first fic i'm writing. It's a oneshot & it's short, but i like it.

I'm only going to write oneshots for a while. I've tried writing longer stories, and about half way through, it just stops. I might start writing longer fics in the future, i don't know.

Review and tell me what you think! I'm open to criticism.
