A/N: So, this is a long one (for me at least). This is actually turning out to have some sort of plot! Wow! Who'd have thunk? Lol

Anyway, please keep reading, and REVIEW!

Chapter 3:

"Um...well we seem to be lost," Annie finally managed to stammer out.

"Please, let us escort you." The two soldiers extended their elbows which Annie nervously took while Hannah practically jumped on the other one and immediately started chatting away.

It was no wonder that when they finally reached to fort, the soldiers practically ran away from the two girls.

"Well, that wasn't very nice." Hannah huffed.

"Oh, get over it. C'mon! I wanna watch this. I mean if this is what we think it is, then we're living out Pirates!"

Hannah thought about it and knew that Annie was right. "Well than, let's go! Oh! Let's leave right after the ceremony and go down to the pier to meet Jack!"

Annie saw the excited, and somewhat, scary gleam in her friend's eye. Despite all that, she went along with the plan.

The ceremony was quite longer than the girls had expected. When it first began, Annie practically jumped on Hannah when Norrington appeared, and now she had the scary excited gleam in her eye! But it went away quickly, and Hannah knew what her friend had thought about: when he dies in the third movie. Annie's excited face quickly turned into a frown.

"Hannah! This is SO depressing! I can't be here! He dies!"

"Shh!" Hannah scolded her distraught friend, "No one knows that yet!"

"But-but,"

Hannah glared at her friend. "Fine," Annie sighed, "You win, again."

"Thank you," Hannah noticed people starting looking at them funny, "Now pay attention!" she whispered.

The ceremony took a lot longer than they had expected. The people kept going on and on about Norrington and all his accomplishments. Annie leaned over to Hannah, "You know, I'm starting to not like him anymore."

Hannah giggled. "I know what you mean. You know, I was wondering, why are we here? I mean who knows why were here here, but why are we here at the ceremony? Ya know?" she whispered.

"Yeah, I know what you mean, and I was thinking about it too," Annie looked around and found who she was looking for. "Lemme try something." Quickly she left Hannah's side.

"Annie! What ar-" Annie turned and gave her friend an urgent look telling her to be quiet. Sighing, Hannah followed her.

Annie quietly made her way through the crowd till she found who she was looking for. Sliding next to her, Anne lead over and whispered in her ear (and in a perfect British accent). "Hi Liz, quite the exciting ceremony is it not?"

Hannah got there just as Annie started whispering to the girl, and instantly recognized who it was. Oh no! What is she getting us into now?!

Elizabeth Swann jumped a little and turned her head to see who was talking to her. When she did she instantly calmed down. "Oh, Anne, it's just you! I was looking for you earlier. You look gorgeous! Where did you find that dress?" Elizabeth whispered.

Annie was taken aback for a moment and didn't know how to respond. Luckily, at that moment, Hannah walked up. Unluckily, Elizabeth didn't seem to recognize her. The two girls shot questioning looks at Annie.

"Umm, Liz, this is my...friend Hannah. She just moved here from England. Her parents are dead." Annie added the last part quickly, for if she had said "with her family," Elizabeth would have asked who they were.

Hannah glared at Annie for that last part but let it go and smiling she outstretched her hand for Elizabeth to shake. "Nice to meet you, Liz?"

"Well, actually it's Elizabeth, but you can call me Liz." Turning back to Annie, Elizabeth started talking to her 'friend.' As they were talking, Hannah was getting bored, so she decided to wander off.

She had always loved historical things, a love she shared with Annie, and being here for her was really neat. She wandered around the fort, noting the place where she knew in the near future Elizabeth would be falling off. It was weird actually seeing it. As she was looking over the edge, she heard someone clearing their throat behind her. Turning around, she saw it was no one other than Norrington. The ceremony must have ended with out her noticing! Oh well.

"Hi!" She said a little too quickly. "Um, I mean, Hello commodore."

"Hannah," he looked at her sternly, "What are you doing wandering around here without an escort?"

"Um, well…"

"You know it is improper! Wait till your Uncle hears about this, he won't be happy at all."

"Well I'm sooorry!" Hannah snapped back, though instantly regretting it. Norrington brought back his hand and quickly slapped her on the check.

"No cousin of mine will ever talk back to me, especially a young woman. Learn to respect your men." He scowled at her as Hannah shrunk back, her hand holding her smarting cheek. Then Norrington turned and left.

Well, Hannah thought, at least now I know who I am. She turned at went to go find Annie. She still wanted to go down to the docks!

When she found them, Annie and Elizabeth were still talking in the same spot, hardly noticing that the ceremony had ended. Hannah walked right up to Annie and grabbed her arm.

"C'mon! We have to go!" Hannah said pulling along her friend.

"What? Why?" Then remembering, she looked up at Hannah, and noticed her red check. "Hannah! What happened?!"

"I'll tell you on the way, no come on."

Annie said a quick goodbye to Elizabeth and followed Hannah out of the fort and twords the docks.

"Hannah, wait! What happened to you?"

"Well, apparently I'm James Norrington's cousin. Quick note, don't talk back to guys here. Baaad idea."

"He-he hit you?" Annie was shocked.

Hannah just shrugged her shoulders. "Eh, it didn't hurt. He hits like a girl."

Annie laughed. "Oh! So I was talking to Elizabeth, and she invited us over for dinner and to spend the night! This'll work out perfect! Maybe we can get on the ship with her!"

Hannah looked excited. "Yeah! That would be SO awesome! Hmmm…I wonder what the pirates will look like in real life, ya know? Not some CGI created image! I bet it'll be cool!"

The girls continued scheming until finally they found the dock where the Interceptor was. Jack was already on it, though he was only just saying, "It's such a pretty boat-ship." The girls looked at each other and jumped up and down having a moment of crazed fan-girlieness. Unfortunately, it did not go unnoticed by the guards, or their favorite pirate captain.

"Look's like ya got a couple o'… civilians… ta tend to, aye?" The girls heard Jack say.

Quickly composing themselves, they boarded the ship before Murtogg or Mullroy could say or do anything about it.

"Sorry to disturb you two, but my friend here," Annie said gesturing to Hannah, "Was telling me about the Interceptor and I made her come down and show it to me. You wouldn't deny the commodore's cousin access to a ship now would you?" She said stealing a glance at Jack and noticed him studying her with a sort of curiosity. He knows I'm lying. Must be his 'pirate senses' kicking in. She giggled to herself.

The two bumbling guards clumsily dismissed the girls, but they had already distracted themselves with more interesting things, or man for that matter: Captain Jack Sparrow.

Hannah was the first to get to him. "Excuse me, but are you Captain Jack Sparrow?" She asked, even though she knew full well who he was.

Jack liked her immediately. "So, you know who I am, luv?" Just as he was flashing her is grin-she slapped him.

"Hannah!"

"Sorry, I've REALLY wanted to do that!"

"Eh, fair enough."

"What was that for? We 'avent met before 'ave we?" Jack yelped.

"No," Hannah said innocently.

Jack looked confused, but decided to dismiss the situation.

"Look, um, sir," It was Mullroy, "You really can't be on this boat."

"Yeah!" Murtogg backed him up. "And state your name!"

Jack turned towards the men. "Smith. Or Smithy, if you like. Now me n the lasses were tryin to 'ave a chat if we may--"

The gaurds didn't care "What's your purpose in Port Royal, Mr. Smith?" Asked Mullroy.

"Yeah, and no lies!"

Jack smirked and the girls giggled. "Well, then, I confess. It is my intention to commandeer one of these ships, pick up a crew in Tortuga, raid, pillage, plunder and otherwise pilfer my weasely black guts out." He turned and winked at the girls.

"I said no lies!"

"I think he's tellin the truth."

"If he were tellin the truth, he wouldn't have told us."

Jack interrupted their banter, "Unless of course he knew you wouldn't believe the truth even if he told it to you."

The guards looked stumped at that.

Annie turned towards Jack, "So Mr. Smith, I heard you've had many adventures, but are they all true?" She knew Jack would love to talk about himself, and she WAS interested in why they made him their chief (whoever 'they' were).

"Are they true? Well lass tha' up ta you, do you think I'm an 'onorable man?" Jack gave her a sly look.

"Well, Mr. Smith, I really don't know you that well to be able to tell."

"Maybe we should change tha' then?" Jack snuck his arm around her waist and pulled her close.

Hannah coughed, loudly. Annie looked over, she knew what Hannah was getting at. She sighed and pulled away from Jack.

"Maybe another time." Annie said a little sadly.

"Alright luv, I'll be 'ere." Jack winked at her, Annie laughed, and Hannah rolled her eyes.

"Jack, weren't you going to tell us about your adventures?" Hannah pushed.

"Ah, yes. Let's see, oh! I've got one!" And Jack began his story.

While the guards were listening intently to Jack's story, Hannah dragged Annie away.

"Annie! What are you doing?!" She whispered.

"What do you mean?"

"You're flirting with him." Hannah said flatly.

"So?"

"Annie, he's just like stupid boy. I don't want you getting hurt again. Please?" Hannah begged her friend.

"Fine. I wont flirt with him, but I'm not making promises on ANYone else-k?"

"Fine. Thank you."

"Ugh, your welcome." Annie rolled her eyes at her friend. Yeah, so Jack was almost exactly like her last guy, but a girl can have fun can't she? But she knew what Hannah was getting at and decided to leave it alone…for now at least.

Just as they were getting back to the group, they heard Jack say those fateful words, "And then they made me their chief."

Hannah and Annie looked at each other: this was it. It was time for the adventure to begin.

A/N: So here it is, the adventure is finally beginning. What's going to happen? Well we all pretty much know whats basically going to happen-but it'll still be fun and interesting. So with my final words: REVIEW! puppy dog eyes please?
