"The Mind Worms are the natural defenses of the living planet—the white blood cells, if you will. In a world in which unassimilated thought represent danger, the mind worm seeks out concentrations of sentient mental energy and destroys them, ruthlessly and efficiently."

Pravin Lal had finished his notes when the last council member he wanted to come entered.

"We need to become friends with Lady Dierdre. She has a special relationship with these 'mind worms'. We need to be friends with her to unlock the secrets of them and planet."

"I WILL NEVER BE FRIENDS WITH HER! SHE DANCES NAKED WITH THE TREES! SHE IS MY MORTAL ENEMY!" Santiago screamed.

"Maybe we can study her and the worms to figure out their secrets." Zahkarov hypothesized.

"God said we should always accept people for who they are." Miriam stated.

"We can sell her secrets when she shares them." Morgan said.

"We can control the drones if we control the mind worms." Yang said.

"I HATE YOU ALL! YOU WORRY ABOUT YOUR OBJECTIVES AND NOT ABOUT WHAT HAPPENS TO YOU WHEN YOU LET YOUR GATES OPEN FOR HER!" Santiago shouted

"Please be quiet colonel." Lal sighed.

"SHUT UP ALL OF YOU! VENDETTA UPON ALL OF YOU!" Santiago shouted and left to plan.

Dierdre walked in.

"What'd I miss."

Lal sighed. Looks like his peace talks went real well.
