I loved those happy Team 7 days...the memory deserves a story, doesn't it? Kakashi's POV, about a little 'mission' of sorts...

"Mmkay, on the count of three you guys..."

"One..."

"Two..."

"..."

"Sasuke!"

"...three."

"OOF."

I smirked at them. There was no way.

"I can't reach! A little higher!"

"Sakura, that's as high as we can go!"

"Come on Naruto, don't be such a – are you looking up my skirt?"

"What? No!"

Sasuke smiled softly and Sakura reached up her hand.

"Kakashi-sensei this isn't fair,"

I shrugged at Sasuke.

"Whatcha gonna do?"

He took a deep breath and locked eyes with Naruto. He grinned and nodded.

"Steady Sakura!"

"And...now!"

As I watched them struggle, amused, Sasuke and Naruto hiked Sakura up the tiniest bit, and she was thisclose to grabbing to apple I'd set them out to get.

"I still can't reach it!"

"We're trying as hard as we can!"

"Man Sakura, how much do you weigh?"

Sakura angrily kicked Naruto in the head.

"OW!"

"YOU IDIOT YOU'RE GOING TO DROP HER!"

I laughed as they tried to get back into position.

"Sakura, I'm going to bend down, and you put your feet on my shoulders, okay? When I stand up, you should be able to reach it."

"Alright Sasuke!"

Naruto, quickly jumping out of his sulk, cheered them on as they did exactly that, and I raised an eyebrow as Sakura's fingertips brushed the apple.

"I got it!"

"Alright!"

"Yeah! I knew we could do it! Believe it!"

It was true. The group toppled over, laughing, as Sakura waved the apple above them.

"We got it Kakashi-sensei, we got it!"

"Woo-hoo! Believe it!"

"Good job Sakura."

I shook my head.

"Darn, I guess you three are tougher than I thought."

They sat up, grinning at me. I watched as Naruto gleefully slapped Sakura's hand, then a reluctant Sasuke's.

"Heck yeah we're tough! You better believe it!"

"Shut up with the believe it already Naruto!"

Sakura, although pretending to be annoyed, was beaming with pride. I smiled and shook my head.

Maybe these three were going to be a bigger handful than I thought.

Ah, if only he'd known.
