"D-Doctor?!" She stuttered, then reddened.
The craggy featured, short haired Doctor turned toward her, raising an eyebrow. He shifted his stance, looked startled.
"Rose? Didn't you just go into the wardrobe room? It doesn't look like you changed anything!"
Rubbed her eyes.
Looked back up into a strange , yet painfully familiar face. Those eyes...
"Oh dear, you died. You died and were reborn right in front of me. You Convinced me. What's going on?"
The Doctor before her blinked. For the first time she knew, he looked at a loss.
"You..I... you just left for... oh dear."
He shuffled and straightened his jacket. "I've crossed over my own timeline again, then?"
He frowned, lost in thought, then grinned. "Fantastic. Absolutely fantastic. I know, then, I'll survive, and so will you. Finally, I've made a promise stick!"
He grabbed Rose's arm strongly, but gently, ever so gently.
"By the hand of Rassalon, I'm ever so grateful you've come back to let me know."
Rose blushed anew.
"Honestly doctor,I didn't know that you were here. I don't know what will happen, I even forgot we came to this time. But," she added, placing her hands in his, "I am truly glad to see you again, even just for now. You are always you, but the point of view makes all the difference."
She leaned forward and kissed him on the cheek. His eyes widened, his smile went a bit wider, though it seemed more bittersweet.
"I don't know if you'll remember this," Rose went on," because you never talked to me about it, or even gave a hint. But I really am grateful that you let me into you life."
She stroked the side of his face, then ran off.
A few moments later, Rose appeared from the wardrobe room, wearing a full kimono. "What do you think, Doctor? Will it fool anyone?
"Probably not," said the Doctor with a wide grin, "but you'll at least look slightly the part. Oh, and Rose?"
"You're doing an absolutely Fantastic job. I knew I could count on you"
Rose smiled, blushed, then opened the door to the TARDIS and stepped out on a brand new adventure.
