What's up everybody? The-Saiyan-From-Hyrule here! Well, this is my first Dbz entry, and it took me two weeks of various drafts, to make it to this. And to be honest, I still don't think it turned out that well... But, I guess I should leave that to the readers to decide, enjoy!

Disclaimer: I own Dragonball Z! No... actually I don't...

Planet Vegeta, that blood-red sphere resting alone in the infinite darkness of space...

In the blink of an eye, our place of birth is turned into a dispersing cloud of dust by the hands of a bloodthirsty traitor... This was my fate, my tragic ending.

The sound of his maniacal laughing echoed throughout the heavens and pierced my eardrums, as he cheered at our ill-fated misery, he thinks he has won, that the Saiyans are no more.

But you Kakarot, you outlive us all, destined to become an unsurpassed warrior and Frieza's doom. I saw it all, as I drifted into eternal sleep in my starry grave, you, standing face to face with the one who took joy in destroying us.

I never would have guessed it, or even thought in the most insane of dreams, that the lowest class child with no promise, would turn from pitiful scum with a battle power of two, to the greatest of us all.

My son, you have made me so proud... I learned the error of my ways from you, and so unnaturally fast. Even when I saw you as nothing more than a worthless reject, I couldn't deny that there was something different about you.

Perhaps I would've figured it out sooner, if I hadn't of given up any further interest in you. What a fool I was... I only regarded you through the eyes of a scouter, made quick judgement based on a green lens with numbers.

It took me until the very end to realize that you really were special, that there was so much more to you than what anything or anyone would say. I did you wrong, by acting in the way I did, and now I die with the regret that I will never again have the chance to hold you.

Goodbye, Kakarot... Become the greatest Saiyan ever to live and avenge your people! But don't become like us, and make the same foolish mistakes that I did. Become different, my son...

Well, there you have it, my first oneshot. This is the first time I've written something from the characters point of view, so hopefully it didn't turn out too bad.

I graciously welcome reviews! Signed and anonymous, but if the anonymous reviews don't work, then I don't know why, because I did turn it on. (Believe me, I checked.)

Don't forget to review! Make this inexperienced writer happy!
