Disclaimer: I don't own it

"But I don't want to sing!" Hinata said as Ino, Sakura, Tenten and Temari pushed her to the small stage in the mediocre karaoke bar. The girls laughed and continued to push her, not fully taking In her complaints.

"Common Hinata, this is the only way to get your mind off of Naruto-kun" Sakura said, causing the other girls to giggle.

It had been two years since he had left. Two long years. I still remember his spiky blonde hair and his beautiful ocean blue eyes, the way they seemed to light up when he smiled. Over the two years he'd been gone, I kept wondering if he had changed at all, or if he'd be the same Naruto-kun I had grown to love.

Hinata sighed and ran the rest of the way up the stage, causing the other girls to fall on their faces, she laughed into the microphone and cleared her throat. "Ano…this so goes out to someone very special to me…wherever he his. "

Hinata searched the song in the little karaoke box behind her and the sweet melody filled the bar.

"Memories…memories….memories…" She whispered

"In this world you tried not leaving me alone behind there's no other way I'll pray to the gods: let him stay the memories ease the pain inside now I know why"

Naruto came to me, the day he left, he told me he was going to train and become stronger. He would protect his precious people and that I was one of them. He had giving me a hug and a small kiss on the cheek and…well…I had fainted. I can still feel the joy I felt then, every time I think about it.

"All of my memories keep you near in silent moments imagine you'd be here all of my memories keep you near the silent whispers, silent tears…"

I had always imagined him being here with me, loving me. He would look at me grown out ebony hair and admire it, running his fingers through it, him kissing my cheek again. But I've had to settle for the things he left me with like during the chunin exams when I gave him the ointment, our hands had touched slightly, just a graze, and I had lit up like a Christmas tree. And you want to know something else, every night I stare out my window and look at the stars picturing his face in them and cry. I wouldn't make a sound though, lest father would hear.

"Made me promise I'd try to find my way back in this life I hope there is away to give me a sign you're okay reminds me again it's worth it all so I can go home…" Hinata looked out into the crowd, there were people she didn't know out there and her voice grew stronger knowing that she wasn't as shy as she used to be and that, even though the one she practically lived for was gone, she had still grown hoping that some day he would come home safe.

"All of my memories Keep you near In silent moments Imagine you'd be here All of my memories Keep you near he silent whispers, silent tears. Together in all these memories I see your smile All the memories I hold dear Darling you know I love you till the end of time"

Everyone clapped as a small tear ran down Hinata's cheek. She quickly wiped it away and smiled as her friends ran up to her and hugged her. They had finally gotten her out the house AND they got her to sing in front of a large crowd, that was an accomplishment.

"Sake anyone? " Hinata asked as they sat down and wiggled her eyebrows. They all laughed and had a great time, remembering all the fun they had with the blonde ninja they called Naruto.
