I don't like to talk about my days in the military. It's not because I'm ashamed of what I did... I served my country and I was proud to do it. But I prefer the way I serve now... not just my country, or a president, or an organization like the Foundation... I serve people. Sometimes, it's people that I know. Sometimes I serve people that I've never met... people that I will never get to meet. That doesn't make them less deserving of help, if they need it.

That's why I just smile when someone calls me a civilian.
