"You're not supposed to be here," Sam said, glaring at him as he leaned in her doorframe

Author's Note: This is part of my series of 200-word drabbles on all the ships I like in every fandom. Just a little challenge I set for myself. It's going to be quite a task, I'm a huge shipper…. :-)

"You're not supposed to be here," Sam said, glaring at him as he leaned in her doorframe.

"Can't a man visit the woman he loves?" Jack asked, stuffing both hands in his pockets.

"Usually. But this is extenuating circumstances, sir."

"Carter. We're getting married tomorrow. You can drop the sir. In fact, under the circumstances I find it disturbing."

Sam chuckled.

"That's why you're not supposed to be here. It's bad luck."

"It's not bad luck to see you till tomorrow," Jack answered, leaning in and kissing her gently.

She smiled.

"You know, there are times when I strongly suspect I love you, General O'Neill."

"I know I love you, Sam. And tomorrow, so will everybody else."

"Are you sure you're ready to do this?" Sam asked, biting her lip. "A surprise wedding, I mean."

"I've been ready for years," Jack answered.

"Everyone's coming? Everything's ready?"

"Yes and yes. Carter, you're not getting cold feet, are you?"

Her face softened.

"Of course not. Not after trying to land you for ten years."

Jack leaned in and kissed her again.

"I can't wait to see look on Daniel's face when he sees you in your dress."

Sam's smirk matched Jack's own.
