disclaimer: no one of the nice people you'll read about in the following part belongs to me, what a pity… but I surely would love to drink a coffee with Gibbs, chat with Abby, head slap Tony, annoy Tim just a little bit and talk with the rest of the gang ;-)

Sorry for mistakes I might have made, tell me so I can try to fix them or learn for the next time.

I love reviews don't hesitate,

The picture

She was sitting in his living room or better their living room. It was dark, quiet, and cold but she couldn't bring herself to change anything of that. Tears were still streaming down of her cheeks. She knew soon he would arrive concerned because of the way she acted earlier in her lab. She was glad they weren't alone she wouldn't have been able to face him back there.

The front door opened and closed again. A few seconds nothing happened then she heard his voice. "Abs?" She heard his concern but didn't answer instead she tried hard to let no sob escape. She failed.

He entered the room and crossed it until he stood right in front of her. She didn't dare to look up in his eyes, the eyes which usually would let her worries go away in an instant. She was too scared what his reaction would be when he would realize what was the reason of her behaviour.

"Abs what's wrong? You're acting weird since lunch break. Did I do something wrong?" His words were gently and full of worries. The softness in his voice made it even worse. She couldn't stop herself from crying.

What if he hates me now. He pulled her up from the armchair right into his arms.

"So tell me did I do something." "No" Her outburst surprised him. "I, I'm sorry Jethro ...I didn't mean to ...I" "For Christ sake Abby tell me what is wrong." She broke free from his embrace and pulled a picture out of one of her pockets. She handed it over and ran up to their bedroom.

He crossed the room. He switched on the light as he heard the bedroom door close with a loud bang.

He looked closely at the picture in his hand until the meaning of it sank in.

Gibbs literally flew up the stairs into the bedroom to find Abs hidden under the cover still crying.

He almost didn't hear her whispered question. "Do you hate me now?" "Abbs get out of there." He ordered. Tears were glinting in his eyes. "Now." The moment her head appeared he answered.

"What makes you think that I could ever hate you, you are giving me the greatest present someone can get. You're making me to a father again. I'm happy Abs, I really am."

"Really?" "Yeah" He pulled her in his arms. "Hun tell me, what made you think I could hate you?" "I just didn't know if you wanted to have another child, after what had happened in your past, the last thing that I want to do is hurting you." He stroke her hair.

"You can't hurt me Abs. Tell me, how do you feel about us becoming parents."

"You are the only one I could ever imagine as the father of my children. I'm happy as long you're happy." She brought her hand to his face, caressing his cheek.

"I can't wait to tell our friends." He smiled "Shouldn't we tell them first that we're together." "Well Ducky knows, Tim knows, and Jenny knows and the other assume that there is something." "I hope so, after all they are Special Agents." He softly placed his lips upon hers before pulling her close and holding her tight 'till sleep came over them.
